Worst Rod Ever
Rod snapped on first use. I have no idea why. It was not hung up on anything like grass, logs, etc.

Great Rod
My daughter needed a new rod and she chose this one. Her boyfriend was pretty excited for her (and a little jealous) that she got this St. Croix rod. She loves it and keeps it ready to go in her car.

Rod Snapped In Half
No exaggeration, this rod snapped in half on the first cast I ever made.

More Fragile Than I Expected
The second time I used this rod, it snapped into two pieces. I’m an experienced fisherman and did not think I was stressing the rod too much, but apparently it wasn’t as resilient as I was expecting. Paid a lot for the rod, and I’m disappointed in the purchase.

I use nothing but St. Croix!!! You get a $500 rod for less than $200. Why waste money!
