Great Rod. Horrible Packaging By Dicks.

Love this rod, but when Dicks shipped it to me they charged something like $40 for standard shipping and yet shipped it in a long, thin, flimsy cardboard box with absolutely ZERO padding of any kind, not even a plastic bag or any receipt. They just threw a naked, very expensive fishing rod into the box, where it rattled around the entire trip. The box was so flimsy it was crushed simply by the weight of my arm as I carried it inside. I inspected it carefully and was amazed that it wasn’t damaged. I can’t image how many boxes were thrown on top of it in the delivery trucks. I will NEVER order anything from Dicks again. Everything about their shipping of this rod said WE DON’T CARE ABOUT OUR CUSTOMERS.

I Can Feel Them Nibble, Before They Bite...

It works.. it is very sensitive. I predominantly use it for finesse fishing and finesse jigging. Occasionally, I throw a shakey head and drop shot with this rod. It is paired with a nice Shimano reel. I also only use braid to fluorocarbon leader. It catches fish and seems durable. I am hard on fishing rods...this one might last.
