Fantastic As Always From Katadyn

I’ve had these for going on 5 years and continue to purchase them for friends and family whenever we are gearing up for a big hike. My dad and I just did his first through hike through Scotland and he loved the ease and capacity of the BeFree. Just be sure to clean it out at the end of each trip and these should last you a couple of years. It is easy to just replace the filter cap when you need to.

Used Backpacking, Perfect

We used these on a 3 day backpacking trip and filled them from a running river numerous times. Water tasted great and never had a hint of feeling ill. I would highly recommend these as a hiking companion.

Used this on a 3 week rafting trip to filter out Colorado River water. Sediment was high and who knows what was in the water. Highly recommended.

Great Solution For The Casual Backpacker

I took this filter on a quick overnight trip and it did exactly what I hoped it would. The soft bottle helped easily filter water quickly. I used it to fill other bottles as we went. Very happy with my purchase.

One Of My Go-tos For Many Activities

I just about always have one of these in my pack. Fly fishing or trail running this is my water on the go. For backpacking I use a large gravity filter but still like to have this as a back-up for for day hikes. Highly recommended!
