Nice Rod

I was in the store looking at fishing rods picking up each one in the range I wanted and picked up this Googan and instantly thought “hey, this feels nice”. I put it back on the shelf, tried a few more and went back to the Googan. “Yeah, this one feels good”. Tried a few more but I always kept going back to the Googan do I bought it. On the water, this thing is great. It’s very sensitive and I can feel the smallest of bites, it’s got great hook setting power and a great backbone for reeling in the fish of any size. I love this rod so much I had to buy more. I now have 2 green series and 2 gold series. I highly recommend these rods.

Broke Third Time Out

Bought this when it went on sale to give it a try broke on third time out snapped on a 3lb bass! Very disappointed

Good Rod At Great Sale Price

I think Googan rods are a little high priced for what you get but sale price was great. I have another one that has held up good so picked this one up. Paired with a 13 fishing reel. Combo fells good This is a finesse rod so I threw some 3/16oz weights in the backyard. Handled them well. Let’s see how it handles with a fish in

Good Overall Rod

It’s a solid rod wish it was a little shorter for certain casts but it hold up pretty well

Awesome Spinning Rod!

I have had the 7’0 medium fast googan green finesse spinning rod for over a year now & it has been a great rod i have caught tons of fish with it & it has held up great i like this rod a lot & just caught 5 chain pickerel with it a few days ago here are some pictures.

My Favorite

Had it a month and love it only improvement would be cork grips paired with Shimano Vanford 3000 20# Power Pro braid a super comfortable and lightweight rig! Caught several river smallmouth but surprised how well it held up when I caught 8 stripers with it in fast river with fish weighing 8-15 pounds!

My Favorite Rod I Own

I bought this rod a few months ago and now want to buy another! Love so many things about the rod. The guides are designed to be on an angle and this is the first time using this type and feel it gives the line free movement while casting and reeling! Will be purchasing another in a few days; if they are in stock.

Bad Finish On The Rods

I went to a store today and they just got some of these rods in. The thread wrap on the guides is horrible, gaps between the wraps, and eyelets crooked. This wasnt on just one rod it was on every green googan rod in the store. Im giving it 2 stars because it does seem like a nice rod, sensitive and the grips and reel seat are nice.
