Great Sensitivity And Backbone.

Bought this to go freshwater fishing and turns out, it's also good enough for inshore saltwater fishing.

Daiwa Tautual Xt Spinning Rod

I bought this rod about a.month ago and paired it with a Shimano Stradic 3000. It is the perfect setup for the lower Susquehanna River. I have caught Snakeheads, Striper, Smallmouth, Shad, and flathead catfish so far. It has been flawless. I purchased another one today, I like it that much!!!

Super Lightweight!

Very light, pairs great with my reel (Shimano miravel).

Light And Sensitive!

This is my 2nd rod, very light and sensitive. The 7' 3" really allows to cast light plastics with distance and accuracy.

Nice Looking And Sensitive!

This is a sensitive and nice looking rod. It’s too early to tell on durability but so far so good. It’s easy to feel soft bits and the bottom. Only con I can really see is I wish the hook keeper was lower toward the butt of the rod.

Broken Rod Shipping Boondoggle

The first rod I ordered online because it wasn’t available in my local store. I was sent a box half the size of the rod with nothing in it. The second order came in a plane cardboard box with no packaging to protect the rod in shipment..(see photo). As a result the rod and box were broken in half and the rod was broken in three places. You would think that who ever does the shipping would have brains enough to pack it properly..

Easily My Favorite Rod

Assuming you do your research and make sure your lure weights fall into the recommended range, this rod loads up and casts like a dream. It is my number one go to rod on all of my spinning setups, and thats not even considering the great price. Super light weight, but has a super stiff backbone for a medium power rod.

Light Weight , Durable

I have several of these rods both baitcasting and spinning. For the price they are a very good product. Don't blame the rod for the inability to cast for distance or accuracy. It takes a good combination of rod, reel and line. I use them for Snakehead fishing and have never had a problem yanking them out of the junk.

Didn’t Cast Well!

Looking for a taper like this. Casted at home for 30 minutes. Very poor quality. Hard to control. Not much flex between different weights of lures. Did not cast far (60 feet) brought back ti the store. Refund was no problem at Dicks.

Rod Seems Nice For The Price But Terrible Packagin

Inspected the rod and it seems "okay" for now. Havent got to try it yet. But the package was just two boxes taped together and the bare rod inside.

Daiwa Tatula Spinning Rod

Rod arrived on time and well packaged. A solid tube for a 7’3” rod which was my main concern. Rod itself is incredibly light but still considerable backbone for a medium. Quality rod with a nice look.
