Bought these to use on the back of a Strike King Bitsy Flip Jig. Caught a few bass dragging the jig with these on but, they slide down the hook way too much for my liking. I have to slide these back up every cast. Even stroking the jig makes these slide down the hook, making the technique basically worthless. As with any ZMan Elaztech product, these are also hard to rig. Look elsewhere!

I have caught over 20 bass on the same pack of Z-man Baby Goat. I have better success slapping them on the back of a swim jig than I do on a bladed jig. Also, I place them vertically to give it more of a fish like profile. And another way that I have caught a handful was by putting them on the end of a drop shot hook. Also good for punching, but I prefer the Billygoat which is the large one out of the 3, for that technique. There is 3 sizes(smallest to largest): (1) Baby Goat (2) Billy Goat (3) Goat. Tip…. Loctite super glue is the best glue to use with this ElaZtech plastic.

I love the Z-Man soft plastics! Very durable and will last several fish, unlike other similar products. Don’t just leave them sitting unpackaged, they will melt into a blob.

The Z-man baby goat works great as just about anything u want it too, I've used the baby goat as a jig trailer, on a T-rig and on a short C-rig with great success.
