Love the French press, but it does NOT keep the coffee hot. The large opening in the lid is partly to blame. YETI needs to figure out a maglock lid for the French Press. That would help maintain the temperature. For the cost of these to not keep your coffee hot is an issue. I brew it with the mag safe lid, then switch to the press lid to pour. The mag safe lid is like the cups; it helps hold the temperature in the container.

It keeps coffee hot, but my lid has gotten all cloudy, almost as if the plastic is breaking down. The customization that Yeti did was also engraved crooked.

Tres satisfait comme de tous les produits YETI que je possède Par contre je l’ai reçue avec une petite brèche sur la poignée qui a certainement été remarquée lors de l’emballage, à ce prix et qualité je suis surpris qu’on me l’aie livrée brisée

I was so excited when I discovered that Yeti had a French Press...but then so disappointed that it didn't keep my coffee hot until the last drop as promised. Even with the double-wall vacuum insulation, the wide opening on the lid probably doesn't help!

This product is excellent. I’ve experienced no dripping after pouring, so I suspect some users may simply need to adjust their pouring technique. The temperature retention is outstanding and ideal for brewing French press coffee. Because of its insulated construction, it maintains a much more consistent brewing temperature than glass or other French presses, which can lose heat more quickly. The result is a smoother consistent cup of coffee every time. Highly recommend. Colour was perfect for our kitchen.

Hello YETI Product Team, I recently purchased 2 Rambler French Presses (big and little) and have been impressed with both the coffee they produce and the overall build quality. While exploring the product, I noticed something interesting: YETI has already created much of what appears to be a modular platform. The French Press vessel accepts the French Press lid, and YETI also offers the Twist-To-Lock MagSlider Pitcher Lid for the same vessel. That got me thinking. It seems that YETI may already be 80% of the way toward creating a truly unique product category: a modular brewing and travel system built around a single Rambler vessel. Imagine the use case: • Brew coffee directly in the vessel using the French Press lid • Press and remove the brewing assembly • Install a travel-oriented drinking lid • Use the same insulated vessel as a personal travel mug for the rest of the morning As an RV traveler and remote worker, I would buy this immediately. It would reduce gear, simplify cleanup, and eliminate the need to carry both a French press and a separate insulated mug. I've looked at offerings from Stanley, Espro, Fellow, and other coffee-focused brands. Some provide all-in-one brewing and drinking solutions, but they typically involve compromises in durability, cleaning complexity, leak resistance, or thermal performance. None seem to leverage an ecosystem approach the way YETI potentially could. What excites me most is that this doesn't appear to require an entirely new product platform. It feels like a natural extension of one that already exists. A dedicated travel lid compatible with the French Press vessel could create a Rambler brewing system that serves multiple purposes: • French Press brewing • Travel mug • Camp coffee vessel • RV and overlanding use • Everyday home use Many YETI customers value products that do more than one job exceptionally well. This concept seems to fit squarely within that philosophy. In short, I think there may be an opportunity to "complete the ecosystem" around the Rambler French Press and create something that would stand apart from competing offerings. Thank you for your time, and thank you for continuing to build products that are designed for real-world use. Best regards, Guuggysdad
This is before the best French press I've owned I recommend this highly to whoever is getting into cold brews.

I own many Yeti products. I love this product. The press is way better than I’ve ever had. I do, however, have two recommendations for future improvements. Not sure if you can do something to keep the coffee hot even longer. It’s better than my glass French press, but still the coffee becomes warm (not hot) within an hour. Was hoping that, with your insulation, it would stay almost boiling hot for much longer. I did notice that, if I only press part way as needed, and leave the pressing to just as needed, the press seems to keep the coffee hotter for longer. Some of the heat may be escaping out the top??? Also, it drips down the pitcher every time. Might want to consider a design improvement for the future that stops drips by making a different spout. Otherwise…I love this more than any other French press.

well-made, snug fit lid, should be a staple at our campsite for years to come.

A high quality product as expected from YETI. I used it for two days on a tent camping trip and enjoyed every cup of coffee till the last drop, still the same hot temperature even about an hour later- it could have been longer but my biddy and I consumed the coffee much faster. It is a little pricey but I learnt not to but cheap stuff and dump it soon after and waste money. A good investment that makes you enjoy your hot coffee for extended time and also preserves the flavor as well.
