Toasty Af

I got this bag because I wanted to be warm. Little did I know, I was going to be SO WARM. I am 5/8 and a bit of a chunk, and I found the bag to be roomy and comfortable to sleep on my side. The quality of the bag is high, but remember it is a lightweight material that will not hold up well to resting directly on jagged ground. As stated above, this sleeping bag is warm. I was roasting on a frosty 27 degree windy night on the lower saddle of the Grand Teton.

Best Bags

I’ve had a few Western Mountaineering bags, as well as other top brands. These are the best. They cost more but are worth it if you are serious about the outdoors for a long time.

Pretty Good

I've been using this bag for a year now, but am shopping for another. It hasn't been warm enough for me -- I've been cold sleeping with all my clothes on with temps in the 30s. The bag also seems underfilled, and down easily shifts around to leave cold spots. I also don't like the velcro attachments, which have sharp edges that always seem to end up against my face during the night. However, it is very light, somewhat water-resistant, the zipper doesn't catch too much, and the fabrics are nice. I'm sure this is the right bag for many people, but it wasn't for me.

Perfect Bag

I took this bag down the colorado river rafting for 3 weeks and it kept me warm sleeping under the stars in March. Temps never went under 32, but i never felt cold. It's light and durable and packable.
