My Dad "Borrowed" It

I'd love to give a wonderful review of this product, I had wanted one for probably 5 years and the time seemed right to finally pull the trigger. Days after it arrived my dad said he was interested in getting back into camping and could he borrow some gear. I spent a solid hour giving him the lowdown on everything I was letting him borrow. Everything has been returned. This "mysteriously" disappeared on the trail. But he was busted when he told me it was the best item I let him borrow and he couldn't wait to use it again. 5 stars as I knew for five years I would love it- only to get it- and still not use it for a solid three months. But i have a magnificent dad, I'm glad he's now on the Sea To Summit train.

The Only Pot I Took

The only pot I took for two people on an 8-day backpacking trip. I also had two thermoses. I have the smaller version but melted the handles. Be careful with the flames.

X-pot Kettle Is Now My Motocamping Kettle Solution.

Finally got a chance to put this to the test; I had a very good titanium kettle but wanted a collapsible equivalent. Boils water quickly and easily, accurate pour for my pour-over coffees (very important), handles are comfortable and functional. Looks like I’m all X-gear for my kitchen now.

Works Great!

I’ve used this on two backpacking trips so far and it’s worked very well for me. I love that it packs down small, light weight and easy to carry and pour the hot water inside. I try using a sea to summit packable towel to wipe out the excess water when putting away and lots of little tiny hairs will get caught on the sticky silicone, or if you drop it in the dirt it’s hard to brush off the dirt. Otherwise I love it :)
