Sound structure and materials. Good height for getting dressed. Assembles intuitively. Multi-functional, especially with optional poles, stakes and the like. Recommend footprint, extra posts for use a sun/rain/dining shelter if you're don't use trekking poles.

I was on a 3 day 2 night backpacking trip in a semi-remote location. It was 35 miles round trip. On the last night, a very heavy storm rolled in with 50mph winds, strong rain, and a tornado had touched down in the county we were in. However, the tent had almost no issues throughout the whole night. There was some leakage through the seams, but there was so much rain that it was expected. This tent does weigh a lot though, so I am sure the more expensive Sea to Summit tents are excellent!

Great little tent. The material is light but sturdy. We like the rectangular shape so you can sleep with your head either direction. Lots of ventilation if you want, or you can close it up pretty snug if the wind is cold. We really like the flexibility in how you set it up based on your need. It was wet the first time we used it and so we put up the fly first and set up the rest underneath. We had done a "dry" run at home to make sure we had found all the attaching gadgets and whatnot. Our only gripe was that the QR code they give for a link to various set up videos didn't work. That said, the instructions are clear enough and it is pretty intuitive if you have set up tents before. This is the first tent I have had that the tie downs have a toggle attachment. That was great - slip the T through the loop on the fly when you set it up and pop it out when you are done and store the ropes separately, rather than dangling everywhere and getting tangled. The included pegs were outstanding. We used it with the footprint which is made to attach to the poles and gives you a floor in your vestibules which is a huge plus in my mind. It packs up well in my son's backpack and he says the little bit extra weight for this design and price point is totally worth it to him.

I sent this tent back. There were a several reasons. on setup, the tent rods were difficult, not intuitive. The 3-way plastic connector was difficult. When you packed the tent away, the rods stuck-out of the tent bag. They also exposed a plastic hook that will definitely get broken soon. The rainfly was not easy. I have other tents that the rainfly stashes easily to the side, ready to deploy when the weather turns. This rainfly was not intuitive or easy to stash or deploy. All materials seems to be of quality. It just doesn't work.

Storm warnings were broadcasted and as I was cruisng through the forest, tree canopies were rocking and shacking in the robust gusts. Trees were being uprooted and branches were falling. My partner and I set up the footprint and fly of the Ikos TR2 to heat up coffee and soup in the comfort of thislight weight roomy tent fly and footprint. The strength and ease of set up frequently gives me peace of mind. Durability and the interior makes riding wild conditions very comfortable. Thank you, Ranger Bob

I bought a superlightsweight tent recently and did not like the design. This tent is the perfect larger than typical two person tent and extremely well built. I suspect this may be the last two person tent I need to buy for my kayaking trips. It's robust,!

I bought the tent and the footprint. I set it up in my living room to see how it’s done and then a week later took it out on its maiden adventure. My adult son and I shared it and it had just enough room for both of us without any gear. Set up is easy and I like how the footprint fits the shape exactly. I’ve never owned a tent this size so I don’t have anything to compare it with, but so far I'm very pleased with this tent.

Lovely tent. Very nice design and so many well thought out features. Love the shape of the interior space, great sized 2 person tent. The zipper pulls are color coordinated and also different sized cordlette for finding the right zipper pull in the dark, smart. Very nice design for the ventilation and the fly, including the zipper vent up top. You can basically have this thing wide open on both sides and still catch 90% of the dew with the fly, nice! I will be excited to try this thing on a rainy trip.

Top to bottom this tent is beyond amazing. The size per weight ratio is incredible. The vent system is great. If you want the top opened you can if you want it closed you just zip it closed. The only thing I would say is the floor is a little thin but very tough. The built in storage is also outstanding.

This tent has been super great for my wife and I and our 4 year old. Easy to bring along and set up, it's lightweight for a 3P tent, and has been great for our first 'camping' tent for family camping. I do lots of backpacking, so use smaller and lighter weight tents often, so I was nervous this would seem huge in packing size, but it's not too bad! A great family tent, and solid. I'm curious how it'll perform in some wind or rain, so we'll see. But so far, so good!

Great tent for kayaking or car camping but would not take back packing. Loved that you can take it down while leaving the rainfly up.

Really liked the little details and product quality! It does weight a bit more for Backpacking but it works perfectly if it gets shared in tandem ! Main purpose i got SeatoSummit is for Canoe Camping trip ! And worth the price ! Only con - foot prints to be bought separately

I used this tent on a gravel bike trip in Wyoming and Montana. I didn’t have to pack it on my bike-it was carried on a van. This tent is easy to set up. I loved that it has 2 doors and how spacious it is. It has lots of pockets for storage. Im happy with my purchase of this tent!

I purchased this tent for my teen age daughter. She likes to camp and her old tent was just worn out and not worth repairing. So far we have been lucky and have not experienced any severe weather so i cannot attest to how this tent holds up in the wind or rain. Its sets up quickly and looks to be very sturdy. The rain fly is good and large. I like that the screens on the sides of the tent are well above the ground. This should prevent wind blown rain for making its way in like it does on tents where the screen is lower to the ground. The top vents zipper closed but i have to wonder if there is still not a chance of wind blown rain entering at the top of the tent. I guess we will just have to wait and see. The zippers work very well. The tent is very roomy for a two person tent. So far my only suggestions for improvement are to make the compression straps on the bag go all the way around the bag so they are not dependent on the stitching and add a carry handle. Other than that I am very satisfied so far.

I'm lost of words with how many setups this tent is capable of my favorite is the hangout mode my family love it when we're outside at parks, picnics, or just blocking the sun outside
