Easy Camping

Great value worked well rain flies fantastic especially with the extra room for Geer

Great Tent. Happy We Purchased.

We bought this tent last second because rain was in the forecast during our campout and I'm so glad we did. It rained for quick spells throughout the campout and we were nice and dry and we had enough room that it was really pleasant. We loved the zippable front entryway and we were very dry. The entry/door was... different with the zipper having troubles around the curve but that's kind of normal. I wish there was a window on the opposite side of the door like most tents but it was okay. It did well in the wind. I love the color. I worry about the floor in the future, I've had tents with a sturdier floor but it's pretty good. It doesn't have many of pockets on the sides of the inside of the tent, about one hanging pocket per wall. I like the hook at the top of the inside of the tent, is better than the ones we've had in previous tents. I love how the tent bag has good handles, like a duffle bag, and plenty of excess room so you're not fighting with the bag to get the tent back in, really helpful.

Great Car Camping Tent!

Bought this for a camping trip for our family of 4 and needed something we could put up and down several times in a week as we were moving from campground to campground sightseeing. Our 11 and 5 year old were able to help us put it up in under 5 minutes the third time- a miracle! The poles are fiberglass and we got several splinters while putting it up and down 5 times in a week. Be cautious!

Much Bigger Than We Thought!

We bought this for my son to use in the backyard for sleepovers and backyard camping nights. It's much bigger than we thought. It's definitely heavy when it's all packed up and the first time we put it together it took us a long time. But since then, it's been pretty easy. The first time we put it up, one of the grommets came out, leading me to think this might not last very long. But since then, it's been fine. I'd recommend this as a light duty tent.

Great Camping Tent

Great camping tent, it is large, spacious, and big enough for the whole family. Materials feel high quality. I like that the base was heavy duty enough to not need to put down a tarp under it. Poles are color coded for easy assembly, and the storage bag is large enough to easily fit the folded tent back inside. The case also has a nice comfortable handle, but due to the weight this would not make for an ideal hiking tent, more of a set up at base camp tent. The rain guard has an awning which overhangs the entrance of the tent, this is probably my favorite feature as it provides a storage area without full exposure to the elements.

Spacious Tent

My family enjoyed this tent over the weekend. Our family of 3 plus two fur babies fit comfortably. The bag it comes in is so nice too! Was easy to put up and pack away. Super easy to tote around and stores nicely!

Great Space For At Least 2 Adults, Lots Of Stuff, And A Dog Or 2, But May Not Be Very Durable.

I got this tent as a backup to our other one, and to have space to have our kids go with us if we went camping this summer up in Colorado. I've been meaning to test how hard or easy it was for my wife and I to set it up, but the weather has been terrible in our area just about any chance we had when we could spend the time on a weekend afternoon to do that. It took us maybe 20 minutes to put the tent up and another 15 to take these pictures and take it back down / put it away. We had 15+ mph winds, and only had our small front yard available as a test site, but you'll see from the pictures, the tent is pretty spacious. We couldn't set up the full rain fly / entry space, but you can see the rest of the setup in the pictures I will attach. Good things: Tons of space. I don't know about sharing this with 5 other people, but 2 adults could share it with a kid or 2 and their stuff. In our case, we could get all of our stuff, a nice air mattress (way too old for THAT rugged of camping these days!), and still have space for 1 of our dogs to share the tent with us. Things that need to improve: Durability...I don't know if the rain fly came torn, or if it tore when we put it together, but if doing that on a smooth driveway and a recently freshly cut front yard leaves the fly torn, what would rocky terrain with sticks and debris do to it? Also, the stakes that come with the tent, like most modern tents, are too soft to hold up to rocks and too thin to hold in loose soil. They would need to be replaced with decent ones for any kind of rocky or sandy terrain.

Red Tent

This is an awesome tent! I was able to fit the whole family inside when we took it on our latest vacation camping! It will also work great for backyard sleepovers. It is a little heavy so not for using on the trail but works great as a base camp tent!

Very Solid Large Tent

Very easy to put together, the rain fly isn't the easiest, but it's a great size. I'm over 6 feet tall and able to stand up inside with no issues unless I put the gear loft in. Based on size alone, having two people is the way to go.

Decent Tent

So far the test is decent enough. We only used it in the backyard. It was easy to setup. But there are some loose material around the zipper and it was difficult to zip. The tent is spacious and was able fit us 6 comfortably.

A Solid, Quality Camping Tent

I received this tent and unfortunately have not had the time to use it in the field. I put it up in my studio, by myself, and it was a very simple, straightforward process that took 20 minutes...max . The tent came in a box inside its storage/carry bag. After removing the contents from the box, I found the instructions that are attached to the carry bag. The poles are very sturdy, which isnt always the case with tents and it's a simple "X or cross" pattern setup with the poles. They dont have sleeves, they simply attach to hooks that are attached to the tent. The rain-fly-vestibule combo also attaches easily, but there is a sleeve on the rain-fly that will house the pole and it goes over the front of the tent. All the tent materials seem to be pretty sturdy and of good quality and I look forward to using it on our next tent-camping trip. The pictures don't quite do it justice because the rain-fly is not secured to the ground, which gives it that finished look. This tent will actually fit 6 people, if you're only using sleeping pads and will fit 4 adults if using sleeping cots. Finally, the storage bag is plenty big and you wont have to struggle to get the tent back in there.

Spacious And Very Easy To Setup

This tent is very spacious and extremely easy to assemble. The bonus to everything, is the storage is very minimal, as it fits in a small bag. We will use this tent often and will have plenty of room for our family of 5.

Easy To Set Up And Breakdown!

This tent easily opens up and then folds back down into a compact, easy to transport, carrying satchel. I like how light weight it is and how I can set it up by myself without help as I have small children so my wife can tend to them as I get things all set up

Great Tent For The Size And Price

Just got this tent and really excited for it. I have two young boys that love to be outside. They have a toy tent for inside and have been wanting to be able to put one up outside. Once its warm enough to set up, i know they will be so excited. Its really big so will allow for enough space for all of us to be in there.

Great Size, But Questionable Quality.

The Quest Redwood tent could sleep 6 people, but it would be a tight fit. 2 couples and a 3 year old had plenty of room. Can comfortable fit 2 queen size air mattresses with space left over for all your other belongings. Everything was packed within 1 bag which was nice, however not having any instructions on setting up the tent was tough. If a novice person was setting it up, would be much harder. I have been camping multiple times and it took 12 minutes for 3 people to set it up. 2 people is a minimum, but would be much harder. The worst thing was the quality in the bars that came with the tent. It easily shred and the microfibers gave splinters to each person setting up the tent. They would shred at the insertion point of the metal shells. 8 minutes for take down and was simple. Quality material for the actual tent itself and can't wait to use it.
