Great Convertible Jacket

Really dig the material and performance of this jacket. Switching from a jacket to a vest is super easy, and it's nice having both options. I read a bunch of other reviews, and they sounded pretty mixed in terms of the sizing and fit. To help someone reading this, I'm 5'9", weigh 163 lbs, size 32 waist, and a 38-40" chest. I have an athletic build for my height and weight but am a pretty standard size guy. I toggle between a M and L tee shirt depending on the brand, but usually go with L to be safe. Based on all the mixed reviews, I ended up going with the M instead of the L on this, which is what I originally had in my cart. Good thing I did. I definitely wouldn't describe it as an oversized fit, but it is fairly loose through the midsection (my stomach) and even a little looser around the arms. I would describe this as more of a lightweight windbreaker pullover you might wear rather than fitting like a piece of cold weather cycling gear. Overall, though, it's a great little outer layer. It works very well as a windbreaker without making me overly hot. I do wish it was slightly more snug, especially through the arms, but I probably wouldn't return it even if I could because the S would probably be too small. I bought it on clearance, so that's not an option either way.

Very Happy With This Jacket.

Very happy with this jacket. It’s very light and works well as a wind breaker . I bought it on the large side so that I can layer underneath it as the weather gets colder. Good number of storage pockets and the zippers seem to be of good quality . Overall a good cycling jacket

I Love It!

The jacket was perfect for my weeklong ride through Normandy and Brittany, France. Mixed weather. The wind protection worked perfectly and kept me warm and snug, without any buildup of heat and sweat.

I Love The Jacket. Fits

I love the jacket. Fits comfortably and repels moisture from fog quickly. Very easy to detach the sleeves and covert to a vest. Lightweight and attractive color and design.

Nice Wind Jacket

This is a big improve to the less expensive version - which I liked, but doesn’t have pockets. I like the zip-off sleeves!

Sleeves Too Tight To Get Over Hands

Purchased a size L based on chest, waist & hips. Elastic at wrists is so tight that I cannot get it over my hands [glove size XL/XXL] without a lot of difficulty. Jacket rides up while wearing on a ride, cut is small based on my 42” chest. Will return and see if the XL has a larger opening at the wrist to get over my hands.

Great Windbreaker

Jacket fit was good - XL size for 225 lbs - and functions as advertised with conversion to vest. The fabric weave density really stops the wind and the 2 way zipper is very convenient.

Great Convertible Jacket/vest!

Being a larger rider, the 4XL jacket/vest fits and serves my purposes! There is ample space left over. The ability to quickly convert it is a plus for me and storage as well. Great for spring time rides and into fall. I am a size 56" chest and it fits comfortably and could were long-sleeved jersey's underneath without issue.

Wonderful Jacket Superior Quality

I love the breathable material that does NOT have that plastic-like feel that leaves perspiration all over me. It breathes well and the screaming yellow color is exactly what I need to make me more conspicuous to motorists! Highly recommended!!!

Great Jacket

I bought the jacket "Castlerock" style jacket with yellow sleeves. It's exactly what I wanted with a balance of visibility and style. Highly recommend!

Great Purchase

Have yet to remove the sleeves, but keeps me warm on cold starts. This is my 2nd PI convertible jacket. Fit is GREAT, very compactable.

Second Barrier Jacket In 15+ Years

I purchased a Barrier 15 years ago … maybe closer to 20. It held up better than expected and my new Barrier doesn’t disappoint. Same great features, same quality construction. Looking forward to the next couple of decades!
