Does Not Fit

Too much foam which causes waist to bunch down and thighs are too tight. It fit like an irregular product.

Not Good

Stay away! I had read other reviews of these shorts but still gave them a shot anyway. How bad could they be, right? Wrong! These shorts are not good at all. The fit is way off, the chamois is not very comfortable in the wrong placement and too bulky for me, the waistband is not good. The stretch/lycra material is nice-ish but that is it. I will use these on my trainer for short workouts but that is about all they will be used for.

Less Stretch Than I Like

Fit is consistent with iP medium. Lots of smalll issues, but overall I can use them: Fabric is less stretchy than normal cycling shorts. This causes some bunching up and binding at hip crease in front. On me they squeeze my hip flexor muscles a bit as I ride. Gripper at the waist doesn't grip much, but they stay up well enough. Pad seems to scrunch up and form a bit of a ridge, putting some pressure where I don't want it. I'm not on a cutout saddle. I ride low and I'm thick in the thighs. Different body on a different saddle might be just fine.

Size Is Way Too Small

Ordered Medium size just like my other Pearl Izumi liners. it feels like an XS. I mean it's ridiculously small, nowhere near the size of a Medium. But the worst part is that it's a final sale item and can not be return or replaced :(

Runs Small

Quality materials and construction. Fits very tight. I’m between small and medium according to the size chart. Opted for medium and it still feels too tight. Hoping it will loosen a bit with wear

Not For Me

I’ll admit I have very muscular legs but these shorts are not built for a man. The waist size was accurate but I could barely get my legs in past my knees. These shorts are built for someone with toothpick legs and no butt. Pearl Izumi size medium has always fit perfectly, until this pair.

Good Quality

Shorts fit good on the saddle for 2-3 hours. This product lasts which is why I continue to buy it.

Multi

I pedal more with my dominate left leg and over a long period of time the stitching in the left crotch area will eventually wear out and rip. I have a leg length discrepancy which place more stress on the left side of the chamois. The shorts hold up well with the abuse I put them through and Pearl Izuma has graciously replaced each pair without question.

Great Snug Fit But Not

Great snug fit but not too tight. The padding is perfect for me and the overall comfort on rides is great.

Perfect To Wear Under Regular

Perfect to wear under regular shorts for comfort while biking and a more dressed look for lunch.

I used the sizing information on the site and both pairs are too big.

Sizing Is Way Off

I consistently wear a medium and these chamois were extremely tight. If you read reviews on sites besides Pearl you’ll see it’s a common complaint from many others. Pearl Izumi should be ashamed of pushing out such poorly sized products.
