Great Shorts

They were recommended by a thru hiker. Took them out for a section hike and I won't go back out without them.

Not As Good As The 10" Ferrosi

Skip these and get the 10" original Ferrosi shorts that have a real fly. These lack the better features of the 10" short and are also extremely unflattering. The hip pockets are cut horizontal instead of at an angle, having the effect of puffing out all the time.

Not Quite What They Were

I all but live in an older pair of these shorts; rarely wear the newer ones, which have no fly. Wish I could go back in time and buy more of the old style.

Awesome Everyday Shorts

Work for pretty much any summer activity (from golf and paddle boarding to climbing/biking). The material is pretty durable and dries pretty quick.

Tight Waistband, Fragile Material

I purchased these shorts in black, size medium (like all of my shorts across all styles). I really like the overall appearance of the shorts, but the waist sizing is extremely tight- why not include a zipper fly at this price? I own the Astro Shorts - 7" in the same size and they aren't nearly as tight... Regardless, these aren't suitable for rock climbing, outdoor or indoor. First session I wore them on rock they snagged and frayed. I wore them again indoors and they got absolutely chewed up by the walls. Maybe these are more suitable for light hiking.
