Strong The Champion

This thing has landed me some of my biggest fish Using every weight and style I’ve thrown lures with this cats far it’s heavy so it gets tiring thrown up to 5 ounce weights with big pieces of bunker on it using hi to low and fish finder rigs landed 35 inch bluefish 130 LB cow nose ray my cousin hooked on and giant dog sharks like 50 pinchers the reel is tuff I’ve dropped it rain drowns it but still gives a smooth touch I always ran 85 Lb power pro braid on this set up with leaders from 30 being my lowest to 100 LB mono and still holds throws feels great just gotta get use to how heavy it is but after a trip or two it’s like throwing a pencil I’ve had five rods out at a time with bunker clam bloodworms and this would always be the one to get hit every time and if catching on every rod this one catches the biggest out of the day this thing is truly a champion rod

Awesome Multipurpose Budget Combo

Used this combo on the pier and in the surf, catches small species as well as medium species no problem. Took it out deepsea fishing in about 300 feet of water and it held up well and landed big grouper with heavier tackle (4-8 oz lead). Going to take it out on the boat again and abuse this bad boy, it definitely puts in work.

Great Rod!

I brought it about a week ago and i love it holds up beautifully!! I put a 6oz weight & it holds up GREAT!

Great Buy

Bought this combo for some surf fishing. Great combo.. Smooth.. spooled it with 30lb braid. First time out caught two a 3 and 4 foot sharks. Do recommend it and will buy again.
