My Favorite Winter Tent
Have brought on many winter alpine trips and it's my absolute favorite tent. I'm an adaptive athlete with mobility complications- entering/exiting and sitting up in this tent are no problem! It's comfortable and roomy inside, easy to set up, and quick to pack away. It's bomber during wind and storms, keeps everyone cozy as can be. We call it the "Nemotel"

Great Product And Service
After learning that my planned tent wasn’t going to work on a Thursday I called Nemo and had a tent by Monday. Flew to AK that Tuesday. Thanks Travis! The tent itself was awesome, plenty stable in the mild weather we had but I’m confident it would do fine in a storm. I love that all of the main poles are the same. Makes set up super easy. It was spacious for 2 (we had the 3p) but let us have our gear in the tent with us allowing it to dry (kinda) which is a big perk. 3 would be cozy but totally doable. Venting is always hard on these tents but the double vents over head worked great and didn’t let snow in. Plenty of well placed Interior pockets as well. My only negative is I wish it came with a bit for cord for guy wires to keep things tensioned. There are lots of attachment points just need more rope!

Great Denali Tent
I have used this on an expedition on the west buttress of Denali and this is a bombproof tent. The exterior pole design makes setting up the tent in wind and snow a breeze and also keeps the interior dry. Once set up this can stand up to 45-50 mph winds and heavy snow. There are a good amount of extra guy out points for extra security.

Great 4th Season (Winter) Tent Ever Built.
Best of everything: Light weight. Easy to set up. Solid feeling. Comfortable to use it in a base camp or in a longer stay set up. Keeps you warm and dry no matter the weather. Colorful, feels good quality and can sleep without worrying about rain/snow/wind. External pole structure is wonderful and helps a lot in adverse weather conditions. Snow skirts are a great innovation. Fitting is unbelievably well measured! No slack in any corners of the tent or edges. Staking the tent body is the best and I like that suspension chord. Ventilation: Ventilation is ok but not as much needed. No mosquito net/mesh in the rear vestibule and inner tent body. It makes it hard to use in all seasons. Lots of good things to talk about except few things to consider before buy. 1. Stakes included only for the tent body NOT included for tent fly. Buy more stakes as needed to secure the tent fly to bomb proof for all weather. 2. Good tent for a base camp or drier weather cold conditions. It is not good for moving on a daily basis on trips in wet conditions. When you pack wet tent fly, it makes the inner layer wet and heavy. Once the tent body gets wet, it is hard to dry because of the integrated fly-body design. I wish they had a way to separate integrated layers as needed. Once it is set up, it is bombproof. No doubt about it. I did four nights camping in pouring windy rain. Best camping time ever had with my family. Not a single drop of water got in. Tent was sturdy and felt safe. In the morning, when we packed the tent to continue hiking, the tent body got wet from the wet tent fly. It got heavy. When we arrived at the next camp site, it was raining and cold. No way to dry the tent fly or body. Just wiped the inside tent floor and slept warm. Bought this tent to have light weight but ended up carrying more weight.

Bombproof Basecamp On 18-day Icefield Quest
Brought the Chogori 4p for two people on an 18-day human-powered ski expedition on the Southern Patagonian Icefield. Interior: We were hauling 100lb+ pulks, so the extra weight of the 4p (no longer available online) was well worth the weight for the space. We originally planned to have a third team member, but he couldn't make it because of an injury. As it were, the 4p version was perfect for an expedition with two people where space = sanity. We had plenty of room for stretching out, prepping food, and drying gear during endless storm days. And thank god for all the pockets and a large vestibule that was perfect for cooking, melting snow into water, and putting on / taking off boots. Exterior: The only way to describe the weather we encountered for the vast majority of our 18 days was, well... Patagonian. We received 100+ km/h winds daily and more than two meters of snowfall during the expedition, and the Chogori performed as admirably as could be possible in such conditions. "Bend don't break" became our rallying call for the tent as any structure will sag and contort when subjected to such conditions, yet the Chogori held strong through it all. A few poles bent slightly from constant pressure (the infamous Patagonian W and NW wind + windswept snow that accumulated >50cms every night for days on end), but they never felt close to snapping. (For comparison, I saw a Samaya tent pole snap in half and tear the tent in far lighter conditions earlier this season.) We literally entrusted our lives to the durability of the Chogori, and I couldn't be more stoked with its performance. If adverse alpine conditions are likely and space is necessary, this is the tent for you.
