Great Little Set - But.......

Great bikepacking set but the rubber pad slips down and burns. I ended up throwing it away and doing without it. FOr the money this costs that level of quality issue really shouldn't happen - sorry :(

Excellent With Two Small Issues

I like this set. Wonderfully durable and well used on my wilderness hitches. Has everything I need for big and small meals, coffee, tea, and everything between. Perfect for solo and with a friend too! Only small two issues. The Pocket Rocket Deluxe doesn't quite fit with an 8oz can of IsoPro so the lid doesn't sit as snug. I tried fitting it and folding it but to no avail. The pot should be a quarter inch deeper. Not a huge ergonomics issue as the mesh bag holds everything right together. The slightly bigger issue is the rubber insulated grip on the pot. It slides down as the pot heats up. That could be a problem if it melts. Doesn't happen everytime but has happened more than once. I think a small lip in the pot design would prevent it. Other than these two small issues, I am perfectly happy and supremely satisfied with the function of this kit. Works exactly as I need and haven't had a major problem. Definitely would suggest to purchase to a friend or coworker.

Great Set!

Love the stove and cook kit set. Looking forward to using on my AT section hike this spring.

Msr Pocket Rocket Deluxe

I bought this a few weeks ago. This is simply an awesome burner! Cooks fast and burns very hot. I would definitely purchase again as a spare or backup cook set.

Great Stove, Awesome Pot. Overall

Great stove, awesome pot. Overall pretty killer off the shelf system. Wish the lid had a snug fit

Great Stove!

I absolutely love this little kit! Everything fits right inside the pot, and the pot nests into the bowl. It doesn’t take up as much room as some other stove kits. It’s very light!

College Aged Daughter Approved.

So easy to use. I bought it for my daughter after her expereince with my whisper light didn't go so well. She loves the PocketRocket Deluxe. She spent 4 days in Yosemite and said it worked perfectly. And so easy to use. Starts right away.

Less A Review, But A Question

Love the product, but before I use it, is the bottom portion of the Deluxe Stove Kit's container heat protected so I can grab it with my hands? Or is the holder completely necessary?

Just Buy The Stove And A Different Pot

Silicone ring expands and falls off the pot and into the flame if you run it at full blast. There is an included slip of paper warning you not to do that in the box, but it's pretty lame that you can't use the full output of the burner with the included pot. The burner is excellent on it's own. Just buy that.

Awesome Stove! Boils Water So

Awesome stove! Boils water so fast yet whole system stows in a one liter pot! Super efficient, love the piezo!!!

Great Stove, But Insulation Ring Lets Down The Pot

The stove it self if faultless and is a great addition to lightweight cooking, the igniter fires the stove up instantly with 1 click. The only reason for not giving 5 stars if for the performance of the pot, which like another review had the same issue on a low flame the the insulator ring slid down and started to burn. I think it would be a far better kit with out the insulator ring in the first place and priced cheaper without it. Other than that its great

Took On Ct- Loved It

Took many places: This year, took on Colorado Trail. easy to lite and used for am beverage and. night hot meal. Although had altitude, it always lit. OK. I'm a nerd and like how it all fits together and I appreciate how I can multitask items. The lid doubles as sipper AND strainer; Boils water AND cooks food; Fuel stores inside cooker. Ive tried lots of different systems, I always come back to this. Well engineered. I ditched the mesh bag. Does require supervision as it can be hot.

Great Stove!

Awesome stove, very happy with purchase. One suggestion, please put a bright coloured stripe on the bowl so users don't forget to remove bowl before they put it on stove.

Gotta Cook

you betta like to cook.... cause this ting is BIG! If u jus like a cup of tea or coffee n u use dis ting.... you gonna peeee all nite long. no complaint about the quality.

Dangerous!

The plastic cup provided in this pack has the same color as the cooking pot and both are inserted together for travelling. One day or another, you'll forget to remove the platic cup before igniting the fire and there, not only you'll destroy the cup and damage the heater, but you'll also set in fire whatever your stove is located on (or even what's around). This is not a fail safe device, while the S in MSR indicates otherwise. A friend having the same kit had the same issue and warned me, but one morning with a different routine, I had the issue too and now my cup is gone. @MSR: you should use a flashy color for the cup to make it clearly visible in all cases it's still on.
