Quality glove. Brought as sailing gloves, excellent rope burn protection and excellent grip. Quality glove. Brought as sailing gloves, excellent rope burn protection and excellent grip.

Great product. Takes a little time to break in, but well worth the wait. Use them for bloodhound trailing to protect my hands from rope burns and damage going through heavy briars and vegetation. So well liked that other handlers are switching to these gloves over the many brands and styles we were using.

These are nice gloves, they fit snug in the beginning and form well to your hands shape. Super durable and feel like you have an added super power at your grip or fist. The finger tips exposed is really key for many reasons, I would buy these again but probably wouldn’t need to for a long while. 4 stars because everything can always be better….

Bought these for rappelling from trees when tree saddle hunting. Definitely the right choice for hand protection. Didn’t know you could still find gloves this good. Watch the size. Snug fit but will stretch somewhat.

The fit on these is nice and they seem well made. I'm thinking they will last for a long time! Just enough of the finger tip is exposed to be able to do more precise work while leaving them on.

Seems like nobody can work out these are leather gloves. They don’t fit perfect right away. But if you give them time. They are pretty amazing gloves. I still have a pair from five years back. Never been more comfortable then now.

Comfortable gloves that look like they will be durable. Had to return the mediums (average hand size, I'm 6'1", 180) to get larges, which are a little big for me but the mediums definitely did not fit at all.

I actually had to return these, but did get a chance to look them over and wish they were made in 2XL. I bought the XL size ( the biggest available ) and, according to the sizing guide, they should have fit my hand. Alas, they were still too tight to put on. I have a very wide palm with very short, comparably, fingers, and have a hard time finding a glove that fits that doesn't have fingers several inches longer than mine. That being said, I was very impressed with glove ( I wish it had fit me ). Super durable leather and sewn finger ends set it apart from any other 3/4 glove I have come across. I have no doubt it would have stood up to years of use. I'm pretty certain I would have given if Five Stars if there was a 2XL for me to put to the test.

These gloves fit really weird. The right glove is really tight on my hand but the wrist closure is perfect. The left glove is a little looser and fits my hand perfect, but the wrist closure is really loose. The tight fit on the right hand makes it hard to squeeze the rope or an ascender.

These are nice gloves. However, the hole for the index finger is way too tight. Palms fit me, quality is great. It's just that the one finger. I don't think it's just me that has fat fingers -- I've noticed that some really hardcore climbers have unusually chubby digits. I've returned these Metolius gloves in exchange for a pair of Petzl Cordex gloves. The Petzl gloves fit nicely. I just would have preferred gloves with 3/4 or 1/2 fingers.

I've been owned like 3 pair of this climbing gloves, two of them are the old version that doesnt have the fancy biner hole. Owned first pair for like 5yr and and after it was done (~used it like 3 sessions per week) get another one and lose it, and I get a new pair. no complain at all. Would continue buy it if I need more of them.

I bought it for kite flying, and it was just what I needed and wanted. They were a little stiff at first, but have loosened up and softened with use. I love the hole for attaching to my pack. Thoughtful feature. Sturdy construction means they will last.
