I have a wide foot & found it difficult to find a shoe that fit well, had the features I wanted, and didn't look ugly. Although this shoe does not come in wide, I read a prior review saying it had a wide enough toe box to accommodate that width. I took a chance and bought a pair.
I was delighted to find it does, in fact, accommodate a wide (D) width, and it fits perfectly - not oversized at the ankle. It makes walking much easier and more comfortable. The nonslip tread is especially helpful. The shoe is also quite attractive, a definite improvement over many other brands.
I'm quite pleased with my purchase, and will likely repurchase in a second colour combination.
