Poor Quality - No Support

Straps that hold the laces broke after like 3 times wearing them. Poor quality. Merrell didn't provide any support.

Moab 3 Never Disappoints

Always reliable, a good comfortable hiking boot that is breathable and wide enough for my difficult feet. The black color is pretty sharp looking too.

The Only Hiking Boot To Own

I've had 2 pair, each lasting 6-8 years of fairly constant use by someone who has never been below 270lbs. I normally don't get 12 months from a pair of shoes or boot. The comfort level is over the top, straight from the box. The soles wear very well, and this current pair started losing the tread pattern earlier this year. The leather outers and seams are now starting to fail after 9 years of use. I wear them hiking, hunting, and hanging out. I've worn them on dirt, concrete, gravel, mud, and walking through creeks.

If you are looking for a casual hiker, this is your boot. They are comfortable out of the box, with no break in period. They are light weight and very durable. They are not performance hikers, but for a casual hike or everyday wear, this is your boot.
