Close: If Your Foot Fits, Great. Mine Don't

So close but so far. Footbed comfort and heel support are superb. I typically 'walkout' of the heels on most sandals, but the heel cups both locate and support your heel. BUT, they run about 3/4 of a size too big. The instep is too low unless you're foot is very flat, that combined with the lack of vent holes on the upper means wearing them daily in Hawaii I developed prickly heat only on those areas where the upper pressed against my foot. These could easily be a big hit for Merrell, but they need to tweak the upper design. Be prepared to return them. Or, you might love them. But your foot has to fit the shoe, not the other way around, because they won't break-in. High instep? Don't bother.
