Fit is good (large for 34" waist). Chamois is very confortable. I'm 6'4" and could use a bit longer inseam-think the older model was a bit longer. The color bleeds a bit when washing so wash separately initially.

Great Shorts If You're Tall, Slim, And Anti-bib
Speaking as someone who works with fabric, the pattern on these shorts don't allow as much freedom of movement as their 2018 model but I'm still grateful that quality shorts exist for slender riders with long inseams. I miss the drawstring waistbands but this will do.

Unique Style, But Not Quite Right
the high waist band would be great for someone with no belly fat, I'm not a big guy, but you know when you lean over on a bike even "thinner" guys have a gut. Well the problem is this waist band gets pushed down by the front guy and eventually rolls down below your belly button, and it's just not comfortable. If you have a super lean belly I think these would be great shorts. Nice quality material and padding. I'm 5'11", 180 and Medium fit great.
