Perfect Addition For Car Camping.

My wife and I wanted some sort of shelter for car camping that we could cook under. Most tarps are larger than what we need, but this is perfect. Setup is a breeze using the three poles. There are various options for attaching the front to your vehicle. Two stakes allow for attaching the rear. We set it up with our Rav4 hatch open and have no problems opening/closing the hatch with the shelter in place. There's lots of space underneath for cooking and hanging out. One could easily fit four camp chairs under this if needed. We've only used it twice, but experienced torrential downpours on both occasions and remained perfectly dry sitting underneath it and chilling out. One of the best shelter investments I've made in the last 45 years.

A Great Vanlife Purchase

I’m beyond pleased with this awning! I’ve been in my Promaster van for a few years and always wanted extra shade but didn’t want to have a permanent awning installed. The Kelty awning is affordable, durable, and easy for even one person to assemble (with low wind conditions). Mine has been through a few mild thunderstorms and has held up well. My ONLY wish is that it had some sort of mesh window so that I didn’t have to sacrifice so much of the view outside of my slider door. Definitely recommend this purchase regardless!

Easy Setup, Lots Of Shade, Compact Storage

The title speaks for itself. The Kelty Sideroads Awning Shelter is a breeze to setup, provides lots of shade and at the end of the day breaks down easily and takes up less space than a folding chair. The material is durable and stood up to moderate speed winds. The tie downs are reinforced leaving me not worried about a strong gust of wind tearing it off.
