CONSTRUCTION:

Constructed of hard anodized aluminum, the main gear and shaft are linked to a 100% brass pinion gear
The ultra-lightweight BFS shallow feather spool excels at handing the smaller diameter lines and requires less effort to turn and get up to speed, therefore enabling anglers to effectively cast lures down to 1/16 oz
The compact Palm Perfect design (36.5mm height) and magnesium frame reduces the total baitcasting reels weight to only 4.4 oz
A carbon handle and side plates also keep the weight low while maintaining strength

Technology:

Equipped with FAF (Flyout Arc Finesse) Braking system of two half-ring magnetic brakes that automatically adjust to slow down the spool when braking is needed to prevent backlashes
External fingertip brake adjustment dial for fine tuning spool speeds for smaller baits
The patented LFTV (Low Friction Tapered Vortex) Line Guide decreases the angle at which the line enters the guide, limiting friction during casts

Superb Baitcaster For Light Lures

This reel is a prime example of when engineering meets functionality. Its extremely lightweight, sleek and has excellent adjustments for precision casting. It also solves the problem of being able to throw light lures a long way so you can put your lures in the strike zone without getting too close and spooking the fish. The reel action and drag are both exceptionally smooth and the ergonomics are fantastic even for those with slightly larger hands. This reel will remain a favorite in my fishing arsenal for foreseeable future.

Incredible Reel

This reel is so smooth and cast so good and is built great feels good and comfortable in hand the brakes work great and allow casting with no backlash in this is hands down the best reel I have ever owned don’t hesitate to buy it I highly recommend it!

Combines The Best Features Of Spinning And Casting Reels

This is my first BFS baitcasting reel, and it lives up to the promises of being able to cast lighter baits further. It certainly works better once dialed in properly, but as a relative novice on casting reels I was able to get near optimal settings within a two attempts and was matching my casting distances compared to a spinning reel. The gear ratio makes for a faster retrieve, and the overall weight is very light when paired with an ultralight rod. I will still keep a spinning reel for when I want to drop a bait to a certain depth since that is easy to measure by counting turns on the reel, but for all other finesse applications I will most likely be using this reel in the future.

Tiny, Lightweight, And Easy To Cast

I'm glad I chose this reel as my first Bait caster reel! Easy to learn and it casts tiny jigs during the early spring bite.

Luxourius Bfs Reel

This KastKing BFS reel is unbelievably lightweight and feels incredibly luxurious. The finish looks amazing and the gears feel smooth. It can cast small baits into the distance. The carbon fiber handles and grips do run small but overall great reel.
