Compact Lightweight Flux-ring Stove Kit

Switching from a JetBoil Zip. I added a 3rd-party "Ocelot" wind screen (which packs in the pot w/ 110g fuel can, stove burner, & full size BIC lighter). Testing the combo in moderate breezes worked well, boiling 12oz in ~3 mins. Pleased w/ performance for its weight & space. My biggest usage: Backpack-in & basecamp for multi-day trail work projects... to boil water for freeze dried meals, oatmeal, & coffee. As others noted, the lid has a tendency to come loose. I expect the lid to work "reliably enough" as a pourer/strainer lid by "holding it on" w/ the thumb of my hand holding its handle when pouring. I'll either rubber band, strap, or bag the stove in transit to better keep the kit together.

Love Mine

For camping and hunting, great option for having a hot meal. Packs down nice and easy to clean

Time For A New Version With Improvements

I started with a Flash, then purchased a Mini-Mo and then a Stash. Prefer to take the Stash as it is light, compact and very gas efficient. The issues with it are: (1) The stove is a bit flimsy compared to my Soto Amicus and the wire handle for gas flow control keeps coming out; (2) Every time I boil water with the lid on and then take the lid off I slightly burn my fingers. The little tab needs to be a bit larger; (3) If the pot was 5mm deeper a 230g gas canister would fit in the pot with the lid on. The great features are: (1) gas efficient; (2) quick boil; (3) lightweight; (4) reasonably compact; and (5) easy to use with recesses on arms rather than slots which are too fiddly and annoying.

Light And Easy

It is Jetfoils lightest stove and it's super easy to use. One thing I love about it is the ability to not only use the pot but a small skillet can easily be heated on the collapsible base. Quality product.

Not Stashing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the Stash but the 8 oz fuel doesn’t stash!😡
