Coffee Everywhere!

I love my Flash Java. I use it every morning when camping for coffee and often times before hitting a trail to make a quick hot meal. Great for instant oatmeal, mac n cheese etc. Easy to use, quick to setup, clean and tear back down. Packs fairly small and stays in my Decked drawer system for that reason even though I have a full Dometic 2-burner stove, this is just faster and more convenient that pulling out the whole kitchen. Get their TrailWare too! Great lightweight cutlery for hiking, camping etc, these also stay in the truck and love that they all clip together.

It does everything exactly like you need. It boils water in about 1 minute and is very fuel efficient.

Very Convenient

I’ve only had the opportunity to use mine a handful of times… but it’s been convenient when we want hot coffee. I was surprised how quickly it boiled water. My only complaint is the lid leaks when trying to pour it out the opening. Other than that, it’s an awesome tool to have.

Love the product, have used past ones! From Parking lot coffee to trail coffee the Jet boil also cooks Beware not to push the french press too fast, let it slowly do it's jup to press the coffee grounds to the bottom.

Awesome For Camping!

Picked this bad boy up for a backpacking trip and now I don’t go camping without it! The French press function on this is absolutely awesome. It makes great coffee! As with any jet boil, it boils water really fast. 10/10 recommend!

Easily packable, and lightning fast heat up time. Use on Cub Scout camping trips for my morning coffee.

Good For Boiling Water And Making Coffee For One

It boils water, and it does it really well: fast and efficient. If that is what you need - this Jetboil is great. It allows you to make coffee or tea or prepare a dehydrated meal in a minutes (it's really 100 seconds for 0.5 liter). It is great for backpacking, camping or almost any other adventure where you need a hot water. (I'm actually taking it on a road trips). It works great on the wind. While it does not have "precision control", you still can manage to just warm something up or even make it simmer. Here were great points, now things that are not so great or at least require consider: - although the cup's volume is 1 liter, you can boil only 0.5 at a time (or at least the manual says so). While it's enough for a single person (and not a problem for two given a quick boiling time), I feel that saying that it is 1L actually is a false advertisement - the piezo ignitor sucks. On the wind it worked 3 times out of 10 for me. - unlike systems with wider cups, this one cannot fit a gas can. So eventually, the cooking system + gas takes more space in your backpack in comparison with wider systems (like MSR or Mo) Overall: I'm rather happy with the purchase. In most cases, this Java Flash satisfies my needs for hot coffee and preparing dehydrated meal. For something more sophisticated I would rather choose more sophisticated system.

Used this winter camping for coffee in the morning… worked amazing!! Took moments to boil the water. Having the press included made this setup very easy.

I Love It!

I use my Jetboil all the time! I have a wide variety of stoves and use this one the most. It is so fast for boiling water and so easy for making coffee. On roadtrips I use it to make quick coffee every morning and in the winter time I’m boiling water for ramen noodles in the ski resort parking lot. It is a little bulky for backpacking but I have brought it along a few times. For backpacking I would bring along a more compact and versatile stove. I end up using it in random situations like long hikes, days out playing in the snow, and car camping trips. After about a year of heavy use it wobbles a bit on the fuel canister and the sparker is inconsistent which can be solved by bringing a lighter. Would highly recommended for anyone who spends time outside and loves coffee.

Fast Af

I was helping another dive team with a training evolution on a cold day, and one of their guys broke one of these out to make some tea. I of course was instantly jelly. Ordered on the next day, and couldn’t be happier. This thing is fast! With the coffee press it’s amazing!

Versatile

I take it everywhere for coffee, dried foods, etc.

Jet boil is great product. I primarily use mine for hunting season in the Rocky Mountains. Having the ability to do a french press is great. Very portable.

I love the coffee press being incorporated into the jet boil pot. Reducing the carry load is always helpful. I haven't yet used it at altitude but I expect typical jet boil performance. I would prefer a different design on the plunger, since I've lost half of it on a recent trip. It's a great option for any skill level.
