I bought this for a family camp trip to a remote cabin. I own plenty of other GSI supplies, cook sets, chef sets, etc. This pinnacle 2 pro is an absolute beast. It is extremely well made, and the fuel connection is solid as it comes. The quirky locking mechanism is nicely highlighted, but to someone new to this model, will forget and try to close the stove without depressing the actuator. Solid wind shields on both sides of the gril, cover JUST under the grill top, so you can places oversized pans and pots on to the stove, and still have it centered on the flame. It has piezo ignitors for the dual burners, and lights quickly and effortlessly. Now the down sides... This grill really should ship with the purchased separately case. Reason for that... The gas line separates from the main unit, and does NOT store inside. Most likely due to the small dimensions of it being closed. Also, the fuel regulator knobs on the front, are VERY touchy. Like... Go from full blast to shut off in a quarter turn. BUT, if you can do slight changes, you can easily get it to simmer. All in all, this is a heavyweight contender for canister (propane) grills. It does aock up the smallest I've ever seen for a camp site grill, and does pump out the thermostat for a quick boil, all the way down to a slow simmer. I love this stove, albeit with a few caveats.
