Really Durable

I used it for a couple of tournaments and caught hundreds of fish with the rods they are really good

Reel Holder Broke After 3 Cast

I went fishing for the first time with this rod and after three my reel flew off my rod and almost into the water I would not recommend this rod. WASTE OF MONEY.

Good Luck If You Bought Extended Warranty

There are several awesome features this rod had. That was different from most rods. All that means nothing after the reel seat broke just after a couple cast. Literally just came unglued and busted.

Bought this a month ago and it has some great back bone to it. Great starter heavy rod

Do Believe The Green Hype Machine!!!

Bought this rod last year. Had some Christmas money so I figured why give it a try. After a summer of off and on use the top guide is worn and wears out my line after ten casts or so. I use mono 15# Berkeley Big Game and have never used braid with this pole. Moreover, the reel chuck came unglued and I had to fix it with good old JB Weld. For the price, this rod is not worth the money. Yes it's light but there are better quality rods that are durable and light at this price point. This is a $40 rod at best! Speaking of $40, I own a couple of Abu-Garcia that have held up great for over 3 years and performed just as well as this green piece of junk. Googan stuff works but it's all junk, doesn't hold up, and is over hyped and priced! Most of their lures I've received in MTB's have been junk too breaking one or two fish catches! If you work hard for your money and you need a rod that will last more than one season, look somewhere else!

Better Than I Expected

I was a little Leary given all the Googan bashing out there but decided to try out the Googan green go to casting rod. It’s really nice and a true go to rod. It’s more stout than many of my other medium heavy rods. Gonna try the reaction rod next.
