At Public Lands, our women’s winter hats are both stylish and warm. Before you choose your hat, consider how and where you plan to use it, as there are many styles suited for different purposes.
Warmth
Decide how much of your head you want to cover. Some hats only warm the top of your head, and those might be sufficient in mild weather. With them, your ears will be at least partially exposed to the elements.
Other hats extend down to cover your ears, and those are necessary for arctic air. Few things are more annoying than when cold, aching ears make you tug at a hat that won’t stay down. You might want to pick a hat with ear flaps to make extra sure that your ears stay warm.
Some hats have knit ropes that hang down for you to tie under your chin. With those, you can keep your hat secure regardless of what happens. You could even choose a hat that’s more like a hood reaching all the way around your neck.
Trapper hats have warm and cozy ear and forehead coverings. They usually include chin straps to stay secure and keep your chin toasty.
Sustainability
Public Lands offers sustainable winter hats in preferred fibers. You can keep your head comfortable and leave a positive impact on the world at the same time.
