Giving is core to the Cotopaxi model. It ties its earnings to impact by allocating 1% of annual revenues to the Cotopaxi Foundation. The foundation boosts its grantmaking, democratizes its impact and helps Cotopaxi make a bigger difference in the communities it touches. In its effort to fight extreme poverty, Cotopaxi focuses on three categories of giving: health, education and livelihoods. Each year, Cotopaxi awards multi-year grants to outstanding nonprofit partners who are carefully selected for their track records at improving the human condition and ending poverty.
