Use It Correctly!

Have to use these WITH the pouch accompanied in the box. It works when the oxygen is limited. So use the pouch. I hammock camp year. In the evening I put one inside my shirt (outside my base layer but under the next layer). And I put another between my hammock and underquilt. All night warmth. Every night for week long trips. Just keep filling it up each eve. No batteries to recharge.

Underwhelmed!

I was super excited by the concept of this product and especially that it was made by Zippo. Completely underwhelmed. It seemed like it needed more oxygen or airflow To be effective. ( I had it in a pocket.) I recommend sticking with the Hot Hands packages or the like. The Hot Hands seem to be a lot hotter and not so rigid and big! i would not buy again. Also, please note: once you light it, you cannot put it out! It goes out by running out of fuel. Not convenient or safe to me to leave something to burn out. Sorry! Just not a fan! Totally disappointed!

Just Like Grandfathers

I'm so happy to of had this in my pack, wasn't expecting to need it, but sure was nice to have some warmth, when I needed it, :-$ inexpensive, nothing to throw away.

Zippo Odor

I purchase the Zippo warmer for use in cold weather deer stand hunting and am disappointed with it. I put the prescribed amount of Zippo fluid in it, lit it, and placed it in the warmer pocket of a had muff. Unfortunately, I could smell the lighter fluid burning for an entire six hour sit. Didn't see one deer the day I used it. If I could smell it any animal around could smell it.

Absolutely Incredible Product

Whatever anyone says about this product, don't listen unless it's good. This is absolutely hands down the best handwarming product on the market. There is literally no downside to this product. Is it worth the investment? Hands down, order it today. It takes 60 seconds to warm up, and it will hit 100 degrees and truly stay that way for 12 hours. It takes mayyyybe an 8th of a normal size zippo container to FILL it for the full 12 hours, which is more than anyone needs. To be honest, I get the zippo containers with the flip top, squeeze the bottle in there three times, light it and go. It keeps me warm while I walk my entire 10 mile trap line, exceedingly warm. Best part? It never goes out. Second best part? It gives off next to no odor and I never hesitate to take it hunting whether its deer or rabbits or whatever. Absolutely incredible product. For what it costs you're almost robbing zippo. Ive bought 5. Given a few to friends and family but always keep a few extra around for me and my boys when we go huntin.

Handwarmers

These handwarmers are great! One fill lasts all day and they kept my hands nice and warm while trout fishing in Arkansas.

Good Product

If it is used every day, you will go through a lot of lighter fluid and it takes a good while to heat up to optimum heat level. Once heated, it is very good. Much better than the battery operated models.
