Fell Apart Quickly

Perfect size for my daughter, but fell apart the first day at the lake. First the lower housing popped off (half a dozen times, it's not threaded, it's snap-on), and then the line release button fell off. I'll need to find something else that will withstand at least one full summer of use.

Rod Weak And Reel Falls Apart

Bought 2. First use, the nut on reel fell off and came apart. Second use, tip 6 inches broke. After about 5 more uses, mid rod broke, just getting it out of car. I'm so sad.

Bought this combo for my 9 year old. Cast smooth and works great with trout.

Great For Lightweight Tackle!

I needed something for lightweight tackle. The Zebco Micro 33 combo fits the bill! Combo handles tackle from 1/32 to 1/4 ounce lures. Casts and retrieves easily. Comes spooled with 4# test mono. I super-tuned the reel, replacing 2 plastic bushings with shielded stainless steel bearings and put 8# braid on it. Caught a 1/2# bass on my 8th cast!

Neat

i purchased the 33 micro reel and it's a single bearing reel , you can buy the fin commander zebco 33 micro rod n reel combo at wal mart for same price but the fin commander zebco 33 micro is a two bearing system reel and a lot smoother for the same price
