I bought these about a month ago and managed to try them once. For the price, they are very functional. I had some issues with sinking a bit in the snow despite fitting in the size criteria listed on the website (I bought the longer version). If you are on the higher end of the size criteria, I would suggest purchasing the flipper attachments for the back to enhance the "float".

These are great snowshoes. My 11 year old granddaughter watch me once and was able to get in and out after that.

Easy To Use And Fun!

I am new to snowshoeing, but had a blast in these Yukons. I was surprised at how easy they were to put on, and they remained secure throughout my 2 mile trek this weekend. I felt very sturdy on the uneven snow too.

Couldn't Be Happier With My Purchase

After searching high and low for a decent snowshoe, I purchased what seemed to be the only decent pair left in all of New England... drove 100 miles round trip to Dick's to pick them up, sight unseen. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. Easy entry, easy exit, lightweight and worth every penny. They just need to prove durability and we're all set. Highly recommend.

I purchased the advanced series snowshoe in a kit with poles & a bag from my local sporting goods store. I have the 21" size. I have used them several times to walk in a hilly park near our house to keep up my love of walking in the snowy winter. I enjoy being out on them immensely. They are very easy to get on and off over my boots. Once the heel fitting is set it really is just a quick pull on the brackets over the toe and I'm on my way. I also really like the pop-up heel frame that helps you walk up inclines much easier. Very nice feature! I find the poles to be helpful for balance and great to boost all over aerobic exercise too. Since my purchase I have found your site and am eager to try the pro series. I have already recommended these to family and friends. Thanks Yukon Charlie for making great, easy to use, and affordable snowshoes! Winter fun here I come.

My snowshoes were supposed to be rated for a weight greater than mine...but I find that they allow me to sink in too much....nowhere's near as much surface area as other snowshoes I have that keep me afloat in the same conditions. However...I do like the heel lifter on the back for going uphill. Wish they had more surface area to keep me on top of the snow. bindings are great and quick...and great customer service.
