Great cooler! Keeps everything cold with a minimum amount of ice. Would Yeti consider making V Series chest in a smaller size?

This is the second one I purchased, the first one I’ve had since 2018 and it’s the only cooler that last the longest with ice and I love the heavy duty hardware, old school with the new technology!

Got to love the quality. No other cooler comes close. HOWEVER……this thing is heavy, when empty. Starts off at 35 pounds and goes north as you load it up. Take that into consideration. Great set and forget cooler.

Great construction but lacks in accessibility. I am a pipeliner by trade and pastor by His grace. The unit is located on my welding rig. Come the hot season we need to carry fruit vegetables etc… and your units depth is designed for beverages. A rack of sorts for separating or dry cool would be a selling point in my industry. Thank You

This is a great cooler! I got it for my husband for Father's Day and he is overjoyed. The walls of the cooler are thin so the capacity is amazing. The cooler itself is so well made with the hinges all being metal. I'm so excited about this purchase and look forward to having it for many years to come.

Ordered and received this beautiful cooler…only to find it already dented when unboxed. This was my first time dealing with the Yeti warranty process, but man did it go perfectly! Followed the step by step online process on the website, and within a day or 2 had a RMA and prepaid label to send back…within 10 days had a replacement in house, dent-free and just as beautiful as the first! I cannot, at this time, attest to its functionality, just how amazing it looks and how even more amazing the Yeti warranty team/process are/is.

I haven't actually got to use the cooler yet but I know from the reviews it is going to keep things cold forever. And it looks beautiful. I have seen reviews that say it is heavy... I guess so but it sure feels lighter than my Tundra 65 and it has about the same interior volume. The reason this cooler does not get 5 stars is because yeti has failed to make this a complete cooling solution. We need dry food storage cubes or racks for the inside. The lid should have a built in fastening system for YETI ICE blocks. From the performance reviews I have read and heard personal testimony, I plan to use this as a substitute for a refrigerator in my adventure van. Most of my trips are a week or less and this thing will keep things cold with a YETI ice or two, no problem. I just need better storage management for the inside.

Overall I really like the V-series. I saw a lot of people talking about how heavy it is, it really isn't bad. Maybe fully loaded, but so is every cooler that can hold that much. In case you are wondering, it is not the stainless steel that magnets can stick to, I was hoping, thought it would be cool. My main drawback is it can't sit out in the sun, it will literally burn you. I had it out in the sun for several hours, with the cover on. I guess because of the side holes in the cover it heated the whole cooler up to scolding hot. I mean, it makes sense, stainless steel plus the sun. No different than the ramblers. On the ramblers, however, I can put a silicone sleeve on them to cancel that out. I think it would be pretty sweet if a wrap or a silicone sleeve came out for it. It sucks, the first cooler they make that won't warp in the sun, and you can't have it in the sun.. Overall, I really like it, nice converstion piece. Holds ice well, looks good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received this and was thrilled by the quality of the packaging and the nice cover that came with it. Unfortunately when I took off the cover, one of the allen bolts holding the latch in place was hanging out by a thread. When I attempted to tighten it, it fell out in my palm. Once I got an allen wrench to re-attach it, I realized that one side had a small, white silicon lock washer and the other side did not. So not only did I have to reassemble the latch, right out of the box, it appears that the "craftsman" of this expensive cooler did not even bother to use all the parts before failing to tighten the screws. Pretty disappointing for an item billed as a quality Yeti item! I'd go with a knock off if I did it again!

Yeti V Series is perfect for home entertaining indoors/outdoors, stainless blends in with kitchen or grill area. Keeping my Tundra Haul for boating/beach/outdoor events + loading up on bagged ice, though V Series the new go-to. Hurricane season? Bring it on!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for a cross country trip to carry perishables while moving. In over 3200 miles across 6 days it only lost 1 bag of ice. Served it's purpose and would highly recommend. It's built like a tank and feels like it will last forever.
