I have lots of Yeti’s. Soft & hard coolers, cups, ice bucket, coffee press and a plethora of various cups..Sadly, when Edison decides to shut the grid down we’re screwed. So, a few years ago, I got the 45 and forgot about it. I Remembered a couple days ago and put it to work. Transferred everything I couldn’t live without and tossed the rest. Added a bag of ice and within 7 hrs, it was a defrosted pretty red cooler full of lukewarm water. I have a soft sided one as well, used the cooling blocks and ice, same deal. You what held the ice the longest? A Rubbermaid tub with a crappy plastic Lid. Needless to say, no more Yetis for Me..

Not That Great

Didn’t keep ice frozen as expected. Most was melted after half a day and cooler was not in a hot location. Expected more from this brand/cost.

Wasted My Money

I’m very disappointed with this cooler, especially considering the price. The ice melts within one day, which is not what I expected from a YETI cooler or from a product this expensive. I purchased it expecting excellent ice retention and durability, but unfortunately, it has not lived up to those expectations. On top of that, the cooler arrived scratched on the top, which was disappointing for a brand-new, premium-priced product. For the amount of money this cooler costs, I expected much better quality and performance. In my experience, the ice retention is poor and it simply isn’t worth the price. I would not purchase it again.

Look Great, For Price Should Be Better

I know it's hot here in Carolina but I use this daily for staff. Bottles are floating by the afternoon. Expected more when I got in the over $300 range.

Stains On White Cooler

Bought the white cooler After the first time using it, both the inside and outside have stains on it. We had some cans in the cooler with some hot dogs in a plastic wrap, and it stained the cooler. With some can shape circle and black and blue stripes on the sides. I scrubbed hard and it’s not going away. Just recently saw my friend with also a white yeti and she did not have this issue. Won’t lie that I’m pretty disappointed about that. Does stay cool well otherwise. Don’t recommend getting white.

Need More Replacement Parts

I really want to leave 5 stars. I’ve had my tundra 45 for at least 12 years. It lives in the back of my service truck and gets used and abused every single day. It has been great but recently it’s just not holding ice for more than 1 day. I finally noticed that the seal on the lid is deteriorating and not sealing anymore. I think for a cooler that’s been thru what this thing has been thru that is to be expected. What disappoints me is that they do not sell a replacement seal. I have 5 other Yeti coolers and now i don’t know if I want to keep buying them. I really hoped this thing would last a lifetime. I really don’t want to buy another 45 just to put it in the back of my service truck and beat up. I’m torn on what to do.

Bear Attack

I had a bear come to my campsite and toss it around. When we can out in the morning it was still locked shut and a bit dirty and it still had all the ice. I checked all the drinks inside (that is all I keep in my yeti) and I just dented cans. When I cleaned it off it had a nice bear gouge in the top. Definitely a bear survivor

Lid Doesn’t Stay Open To Load

Keeps ice cold overnight. The downfall is the lid does not stay open to load it. You almost need three hands one to hold the lid open and two to load the cooler. I would be nice if it stayed open to load.

Need Venom

I WISH this would be available in Venom to match my KRX.
