40 Ounce Jug

I have many Yeti products so I was not happy to give this jug a bad review. I was hoping to replace one from another company. The jug just doesn’t keep the water cold long enough. I don’t know maybe this one is defective or what because I’ve never had an issue with any other product.

Love The Design

The Silo jug is great, it keeps the contents cold, it just doesn’t keep the ice longer than a day.

Very Sturdy!

This is the item I’ve been looking for. It’s perfect for keeping items the correct temperature.

Doesn’t hold as much water as you think more insulation than water capacity and ice doesn’t last like other yeti product's

Birthday Gift

I brought my grandson to Dick’s for his birthday he picked out a pair of basketball sneakers and the yeti cooler. He was happy with both items and said the cooler works well for all his sports and camps.

Another Great Product By Yeti

I'm happy with my purchase of the Yeti Jug. Some reviews says it doesn't keep their drinks cold, but I don't have an issue with that. I have two-inch ice sphere ball trays that make larger ice that I use in the jug which make a difference then regular ice cubes (that melt so much quicker) and keeps my drink cold for my entire 8 hour shift at work.

Great Leak Proof Bottle.

I bought the smaller bottle for my younger child to use as a sports bottle because he kept denting the steel vacuum bottles. This bottle is more durable and lighter. However, it doesn’t keep the ice as long as the stainless steel bottles. Since the kid’s games and practice for only 2 hours, the water stays cold long enough. I’d wish Yeti would put a slot for AirTag or another tracking device when they leave it behind.

Fell Of Counter And Broke

Got knocked off the counter and when it hit the ground the handle popped off and cracked in half. Have been unable to reattach the handle. Now it's just a big ol water jug with no handle.

Perfect For Game Time!

Exactly what I needed for the sports field! Lasted me the whole 9 inning game, ice retention is excellent and the fence hook is so smart. I would recommend Yeti think of making a chug cap lid an optional standard choice for the 40oz jug, by the time I bought that to swap out(my teeth do not like the hard Yeti Straw flippers), I could have had the 0.5 gallon for cheaper but I didn't want the extra heft of the jug as I'm female and the 40oz fit well in the hand with the textured insets. Doesn't effect my rating but I think it would get those on the fence to buy the 40oz vs walking away. Is it a Rambler, no. I have those but they get knocked over by my dugout family and dented or roll around. I save the metal ones for work and hiking solo, running around town, home sippers. Gotta be honest, the fence hook and cooler type construction sold me. Love my Yetis! This one filled a nitch and I was excited to finally snag one! Well done!

Good For The Gym

This was a gift for my friend who wanted to hydrate while at the gym. This has a nice, wide mouth for adding ice to the water and for mixing in supplements. The size is good for a nice, long workout.

Looks Nice, Drinks Nice, Doesn’t Keep Water Cold

Thought this would be nice for work to have more water but doesn’t keep water cold even until lunch.

Water Doesn't Stay Cool

Bought this when it first came out and I must say I'm pretty disappointed... I work a 10 hour shift and not even half way through my shift the water isn't even cold anymore. I love the look of the jug but other than that I'd rather get a compact bottle that hold more than this jug.

Ice retention and durability expected from a Yeti product. You can buy an Igloo every year or pay the money and have a Yeti for a lifetime.

Doesn't Leak!
