Missing Features

Great little bottle - would have 5 stars due to the awesome insulation and large 1 gallon capacity but I received mine with a bottle cap that is incompatible with the advertised Magcap for hands free pouring. No idea why, it just doesn't work. Slides right off. I needed the bottle for an upcoming trip, otherwise I would have returned it as I find that to be a really nice feature of the bottle. So just be aware when purchasing.

Pricey, But A Really Nice Option For Packing Shared Drinks

Was sent to pick this up for my daughter after my wife had researched online. I don't think she realized just how big a gallon is and had envisioned it as a large water bottle. Make no mistake: this is BIG. However, we were pleasantly surprised that it was an excellent shared water source for my daughter and her friends in a place that didn't have refills handy. It has a very clever magnetic spout and is generally easy to pour out. Minus a star simply for the price - YETI really lays into you on cost, and at about $130, I'm glad it has a long-term use case.

Pricey But Excellent.

Have had competitors gallon jugs and they don’t measure up. They keep ice good but have had them leak half my water out and the lid was not insulated. The Yeti gallon jug is a step up. The lid is thick and the magnetic cap is a cool feature too. The Yeti was about 3 times a much as the competitors jug I had but it’s worth it.
