Good Pack Just Shoulder Strap Material Issue

The backpack is great, just the shoulder straps when wearing a shell jacket slip off (specifically when carrying on one shoulder which I do exiting a flight), due to the material on the inside of the strap Yeti uses. A key part of the backpack is how it fits and feels in various carrying positions. Change that and this is almost a perfect travel backpack.

Better Zippers

Great backpack, very well planned out. Laptop holder and separate compartment is great for storing notebook, folder, tablet, computer, etc. Zippers all the down as well, very functional. The large compartment opening by the side is great, you can reach in and grad anything you need without taking off the pack. Same deal with the Built in water bottle compartment fits my 38oz yeti bottle perfectly. The pack is very light, functional, and of course awesome because it’s Yeti!! My only complaint/dislike is the zipper strings on it, 3 of 4 of mine have ripped off and I’m using a zip tie to open it. The fabric gets torn up by the zipper from rubbing every time you use it and eventually snaps.

Not Comfortable On Your Back

Uncomfortable when you have it in your back for a long period of time. I was wearing it for an hour and I couldn’t balance it. I wore a lot of backpack and I know how to distribute straps. I used a lot of military backpacks and they’re comfortable to carry but not the quality like this one have. This is not comfortable to put it in your back for a 5 mile walk.

Great for traveling. Saves me from having to checking a bag and works great as a daily bookbag! The straps are great for my hard hat.

This bag is built tough and durable and is perfect to travel with as a carry on we bought it for international travel so we didn't have to lug around suitcases vs just a backpack it is high quality and made of sturdy material so you don't have to worry about your bag ripping and it is so easy to clean we now use them more than just for travel and also for anyone who doesn't know it also has a area to place a lock I looked at reviews online and on the website and didn't see it anywhere and was worried I couldnt put a TSA lock on it but when it came it had the lock on the zipper and made it much easier to place a lock!!

I love this backpack! I use it for work which either requires a decent walk from an urban parking lot to the office or commute via train to the office. My goal was to get a backpack that was big enough to fit my laptop, lunch, extra shoes, and sweater or suit jacket without looking like i was hiking up a mountain, and this does the trick. I wanted to carry everything on my back to avoid back pain with a heavy tote, or disorganization with multiple bags. I had tried another backpack from a different brand before this and although it was described as large, it was way too small. This is the PERFECT size - TONS of room, but still has a sleek look. It is built amazingly well and I'm sure will last forever, like my other Yeti products. I have gotten so many compliments on the color too. LOVE.
