Smart Design

This duffel is nicer than I expected. The fabric is durable, the zippers are smooth, the wheels are strong, and the inside pockets are actually pretty nice. I was worried I’d be annoyed by all the pockets but they helped me stayed organized on my last trip. I don’t want to go back to an open duffel design and will probably purchase a second one of these in a year or two. If you’re picky about travel scuff marks, make sure to get black. This is one of the nicer things I’ve purchased from any brand in a while! Buy once, cry once kind of product with zero buyer’s remorse.

Good Yeti Product, Wheel Design Needs Improvement

I expected more from YETI given the quality of their other products. While the product is well made overall, there is definitely room for improvement. The towing design, particularly the wheels, falls short of what I expect from a premium product. Maneuvering it over typical surfaces required more effort than it should have, and the wheels only roll forward and backward rather than swiveling in all direction, which makes maneuvering awkward and inconvenient. For a high-end product at this price point, I expected smoother, more versatile mobility. I hope YETI revisits this design in a future version because the rest of the product has a lot of potential.

Tuff Luggage

We bought two Yeti Crossroads 29" luggage because they seemed well made and durable. We tried them out on our last overseas trip with multiple plane and bus rides and the luggage came through with flying colors. There were a few quirks that could be improved upon in future models. First of all, the zippered compartment on the bottom where the telescoping handles are located would be easier to get into if the zipper were on the top instead of inside where it's hard to get to. Everyone always uses that compartment to hold flat things that are not often needed. 2nd-it would be helpful to have a couple of fasteners to hold the mesh divider panel up when you can't fully open the suitcase and you want to get into the main compartment to retrieve items. 3rd-if you attach the modular compression straps inside the main compartment, you have to flip the straps around or they fall off the loops and you're constantly reattaching them...annoying! Overall, it's a great bag.

Nice Luggage Piece

Very nice luggage. I love the zippered compartments. The wheels roll nicely and the large handle is a plus. Laptop sleeve section is nice too. Downside is the main compartment I wish was a little bigger and the zipper is tough to use but maybe will loosen up eventually. The material is high quality.

Awesome Travel Companion

What an awesome piece of gear. Built tough, great divisions. Yeti has really thought of everything with this bag. It is now my go to bag. I will definitely look at the carry-on version shortly for my weekend trips. Thanks Yeti

Works Great With The Set! Perfect Airplane Use

I bought this a few weeks ago and I used it along side the carry on luggage! Game changer! Fits where you need it, excellent quilty, most importantly, once you open one bag and get the feel for the operation system... you can easily use any in this set, once you understand it. I mistreated it on purpose and it was great! With a MacBook Pro and iPad inside. Only downside, shoulder straps... not made for long walks... attached to the Carry-On, great! Would buy again for sure and thinking about getting my wife a set too.

Zipper

i bought 2 years ago Zipper went out this week I travel every week for business. At this price point expect better zippers. Shopping again for high end luggage that is truly rugged. Will not be getting another yeti

Best Suitcase I Have Owned

I love everything about this suit case. It is a well thought out design. I will never go back to a hardshell. Water proof with an extremely strong zipper. If I had to make one simple change it would be a better locking mechanism for the tension straps when being used to secure a larger item in the suitcase. If there is no tension on the straps they often come undone. Very minor complaint as it only takes two seconds to connect them again and they still work as intended once tension is applied. I now have three of these suitcases one for everyone in the family!
