Great Bag, Perfect For Travel

The bag is fantastic. The storage is great, with enough pockets for materials, goods, etc. I had the larger version, and sold it because the clamshell design did not work well for easy access to materials, but this size is perfect and the openings make sense (non-clamshell design). The bag is very durable and cleans easily. My only concern are the shoulder straps. They are not very padded, and if using the bag for a prolonged amount of time, are not comfortable if you have wider shoulders. The chest strap do help with this. Id love to see some Molle attachment points on the outside of the bag.

Great Bag, Boring Colorways

Great bag—I purchased for my husband and he loves the functionality and high quality build. Feels size and organizational elements are on point for his frequent travel work needs. He feels it looks nice enough when he shows up to meet with clients, while being comfortable for long walks in the airport and touring sites with clients. I would LOVE one of these bags too, however, the colorways are terrible. Please, please make this style in the dusty mauve or maybe a light blue, pale green/celadon?!

Removed Lockable Zippers

I’m really disappointed that YETI decided to remove the lockable zippers from the new Crossroads backpacks. The updated design no longer allows the main compartments to be secured with a lock, which is a significant step backward for travelers and commuters. This is a design change that should never have been made, as it removes a practical security feature that many users valued. Thinking about returning my purchase.

Great backpack! Lots of compartments to keep me organized for work in the office, space for my laptop and portable screen if needed. The internal compartments for a water bottle is nice. I have an older yeti bag and the water bottle holders were outside and can get caught on things easier. It’s a great roadtrip bag and short trips for personal gear.

High On Looks, Low On Functionality

I was very excited when I received this pack as a gift, as it looks great and is solidly made. It hung in the closet for a few months before a trip to Colorado. I became disappointed with it once loaded the pack. The internal storage for the water bottle (Rambler 18), uses a lot of the space in the main compartment and requires taking the pack off and opening it to take a drink. Add a small camera case and a fleece jacket, and there is little room for much else. Secondary compartment that includes the laptop storage is not much use for gear or clothing as it is narrow from front to back. The smaller gear pockets can be accessed from either of the main compartments, but do not handle small heavy items like battery packs well. Overall, besides good looks and quality construction, I am disappointed in its functionality.

Great overall size for personal item travel as well as a commuter bag. Really thoughtful details between the placement of pockets, compartment access and multiple grab handles around the bag. I was worried about flimsyness off the straps but they feel plenty sturdy. My only critique is on the internal water bottle pockets taking up space when the bag is completely stuffed but like all bags - just pack less to make it all fit.

Build Quality And Organization 10/10

Best backpack I’ve ever owned, materials and zipper quality are top notch. The internal pockets are awesome and you can squeeze a lot more things in them than you would expect. Love how it stands up on its own even when empty. Yeti, maybe make the straps a tad wider and thicker and incorporate some sort of breathable mesh on the back pad. Seriously though it’s great.
