I bought this for my recent trip to the Peruvian Amazon rainforest for my 3 week study abroad trip. The bag has been amazing and has kept my gear dry. I wish the side pocket was a little bit bigger as I could barely fit my tevas in there but I made it work. The water bladder compatibility and extra storage pockets were the reason I got this bag vs the fully submersible bag. I have zero regrets and am happy with my purchase. It’s been great to be able to throw my bad down into the mud while completing my field surveys knowing it will be easy to clean off. The green color is perfect for blending into the environment and not scaring birds off with a bright color or attracting insects to a bright colored bag. I kinda wish it had a laptop sleeve or separate compartment for the water bladder. I didn’t screw the cap on my water bladder correctly and the water leaked into my bag and soaked my first aid kit, ruining most of my bandaids and getting my spare clothes wet. I had no other issues with the bag besides this and I’m happy with my purchase.

This bag is exactly as described. Although not fully waterproof, I'd bet you could go through a thunderstorm and wouldn't get any water in it...it's rock solid. I would like a few more internal pockets/dividers, but otherwise great product, as always from Yeti.

4-star and not 5-star since I'm not a huge fan of how this backpack loads from the back and how it does not include a dedicated laptop sleeve. Since I am fully aware that I utilize it as my commuter and not as my adventure pack I'd add a half star if I could. The material is robust and I'm sure it will give me years of service. Wish they had it in more colors though. I love the fact that it has a separate compartment that fits my 46oz bottle. I added a 3L case to the front and it fits all of my needs. Can't wait to take it on an actual adventure soon!
