I was totally amazed when I was unpacking our Yeti Roadie 32 cooler after being out all day (08-02-26) in over 100 degree Texas heat! The Ice block actually had ice stuck to it and was “frozen” to the bottom of the cooler!! The two smaller Yeti ice blocks were also ice coated! This was my re-assurance that I have not wasted my money on these purchases!

Not As Good Has They Used To Be

I recently purchased another 4lb ice block and I can say I am disappointed did not even last a day before thawing out. I have a couple of the original 2lb yeti ice blocks and those things are amazing I put them in my flip 18 and they will stay frozen for almost 24 hours even with opening the cooler to grab stuff. My new 4lb thawed in about 8 hours and I only went in the cooler once. As with everything stuff gets made cheaper over time. The liquid must have changed because my older ones are a deeper blue in color and my new one is

Leaking Ice Block

I have two 4 lb and one 2 lb ice blocks. One of the 4 lb has started leaking when I freeze it. It leaks into the embossed area that says Yeti. can't see any obvious damage but nevertheless it leaks. I'm going to be ordering a replacement 4 lb block.
