Perfect.

Perfect. These were for my daughter, a Uni student, who attends school in the PNW. They can be worn to and from class in inclement weather. She is also a river guide and these can be worn on cold weather trips. In the Winter, she ski races and these are easy on and easy off footwear after her feet being in heard shell boots all day. Overall, they can be worn more often than not. Oh and she likes to liner design, too!

First Impression Great

First impression they look durable, well made, comfortable. However, I will not be testing them out until simmer of 2027 on Alaska National Geographic cruise and our land tour.

Solid, Useful Boot

I’d give it five stars if it had any arch support, but apart from the lack of that, they’re great. I have a high instep and often can’t pull boots on as the top of my foot can’t get past the narrower ankle part. And though it’s snug with these and I’d love that narrowest part to be just an inch wider, I can do it. But I won’t be able to use thick socks. Just the same, once on, these boots are solid.

The Alaskan Og

There’s a reason xtratuf and Alaska are synonymous. The classic for a reason, the go anywhere do anything boot. Wife typically is a size 6.5 so she went to a 7. 6 was too small.

Fantastic Boots

Fantastic boots. A lot of people are saying that they run small. They are snug when you first get them. After you have worn them a few times they start to loosen up. Super great boots and extremely cute!! I even bought a 2nd pair for my Mom.

Good Looking And Comfortable!

I ordered these online after experiencing them in Alaska. I have tried them on - they are both pretty and comfortable. I bought them for the messy Cleveland winters - and I am really looking forward to using them!

Gorgeous

I only wear legacy xtratufs and I live in a rural part of Prince of Wales Island, Alaska. They are so great, and these ones are also soooo pretty.

Size Up! Overall Great

Size up!! I am normally between size 6-6.5, per the other reviews I sized up to a 7 and they fit perfect. I was wearing puma socks with them and they are exactly how I like them fit (slightly tighter size). Color and design is adorable!

Just What I Needed, But Must Size Up!

I bought these per recommendation of a friend, and they certainly filled the gap in my closet of fishing, boating, rain, and general romping outside shoes! I especially love being able to comfortably fold them down as warm weather approaches. They do run SMALL. I am usually a 10, and a 9.5 on rare occasion, I originally ordered a 10 and they were very small. I returned them and bought an 11, and they were slightly big. I ended up switching out the insole with a beefier insole from a shoe I don’t wear as often, and now they fit perfectly. I highly recommend ordering a size up from the start so you don’t have to do the return/exchange process (although, it was very simple!). I first wore them for a full weekend on the river/in the woods, and had no discomfort issues or blisters with 100% cotton socks, keeping in mind that I did put my own cushier insoles in. Overall, I do recommend them, but you have to size up.

Love These Boots!

I bought a pair for my husband and myself for our first trip to Alaska. I am so glad I did as our feet have been warm and dry and the boots allow for good walking over the rocky beaches. Thrilled with our purchase!

Worth Every Penny

I got my first pair of tufs in 2020, and I just now had to replace them. As a wildlife biologist and avid outdoorswoman, I've worn them all over the rainy southeast islands of Alaska, catching steelhead in Idaho, and surviving mud season in the mountains of Wyoming. Six years for a rubber boot is absolutely worth the money and I'll be ordering again when I beat these up as well.

Great Boot But Runs Small

I love my legacy boots (now that I got the correct size)! I am a 7.5-8 and I originally ordered an 8. Those were way too small so I gave them to my mom and repurchased in the 9. My mom loves her legacy boots too. Great for rainy or snowy days, walking the dogs, gardening, outdoor maintenance, kayaking etc. I am obsessed with the tan/green/orange color scheme.

Great For Fishing And Beach Side Treasure Hunting

These boots are amazing! Very comfortable with different thickness of socks. I appreciate the durability and traction for walking on beach boulders. These boots keep my feet happy and dry!

Calf Size Too Small For Average Person

Verify that the calf size works for you. If you have an athletic build, this will most likely be too tight. Boots also arrived with crusty white splotches that did not remove with suggested soapy water. But I love the color and roomy toe box
