Convenient

Been a saddle hunter for almost a decade and had been using a standard prusik for my tether. Works but not as well as an ascender. And the ropeman is slick and easy with a low profile. Easy to set up and very easy to adjust on the fly with limited movement to stay in stealth mode.

Amazing For My Saddle Hunting Set Up

The ropeman 1 works beautifully paired with my 11mm linemans rope and tether. The makes adjustments to each rope so much easier. There hasn't been any slipping or feeling of insecurity after 6 sits with this product. I'd recommend this to any saddle hunter with an 11mm rope system. Just the thing I needed to streamline my saddle hunting use!

Ropeman 1 Hunting Use Review

Great tool for using on your lineman’s rope and tether rope. Using the lineman’s rope with the ropeman ascender allows you to get closer and farther from the tree you are climbing all with a single hand allowing you to move up the tree quicker even with having climbing sticks or other various accessories in your other hand. On the other hand, using it on the tether rope allows for less time precisely getting it in a comfortable position for using on a hang on stand but especially while saddle hunting. I personally have transitioned into saddle hunting this year and using the ascender has been the best purchase by far.

I have been saddle hunting for the last year, half way through this season I purchased the Ropeman, integrating with my set up, has made a night and day difference. It allows me to make quick adjustments to my tether without have the fear of it slipping. I would recommend for beginners and experts to make the switch.

Helps To Ascend!

Great little gizmo! Like a one handed prussik and it takes up less space than a REAL prussik. Strong and flexible and helps with adjusting a lineman’s belt on the fly!
