Not Dark Red Color

The Dark Red is Orange! The pic is deceiving. Wish I knew this prior to ordering- I would not have ordered this color. My son needed RED shorts for football practice! Ugh…very disappointed.

Deep Red = Burnt Orange

One of these is “Deep Red” and the other is golf galaxy and VRST’s version of red… which is really more of a burnt orange. Never mind, it appears I’m unable to upload the picture. I took as evidence for you all. Don’t buy deep red thinking you’re getting Louisville Cardinal red. The “Deep Red” color might be perfect for university of Texas fans though.

Great Lightweight Shorts

Glad I found these on sale, very comfortable with quality materials. This brand seems to be top tier for the value. They are light weight and can be worn daily for casual wear and workouts. They fit true to size - not tight or too loose.

I've done plenty of running sessions and leg day workouts in these and they have held up fine. They stretch enough to not feel restrictive when doing heavy squats or picking up the pace during a run. The zipped pocket on the side is a nice addition, and is definitely handy on runs when I don't want my keys flying out. I am 5' 11", have long femurs and I find that the length is just right.
