Great looks and the fit to match. Not sure where these are made these days but looks like quality is there; very comfortable for town or country.
High mileage
This is 3 rd pair of Sundowners. Last pair I wore so much that the sole broke in half .Been wearing this brand for over 30 years Wear at work and on the trail

I’ve been wear vasque sundowners for 20 years. They fit my feet better than any other I’ve tried. I work outside year round and these hold up good from snow to hot days.

These are my favorite boots — I’ve had two or three pairs in the past, but they’ve been hard to find. I bought two pairs this time so that I have them for the next 10+ years.

Classic boot that was fashionable in the 90’s but yet so reliable for New York City weather. This look is making a strong comeback in the city & it’s hard to find.

I bought these about a month ago and they were perfect right out of the gate! They fit true to size and were super comfortable on my first hike. No breaking in needed. I had been wearing a lighter hiker the last few years but these are far superior! Highly recommend. I usually wear a 9 in shoes and ordered the same in these boots. Perfect fit!

I have been through 5 pair of Vasque since 1988. I bought my first Vasque Sundowners in 1991. They were such amazing boots, and I did my first fourteener in them. I was excited to hit the trail in the new pair, but something about the new ones is lacking. The boot does not hold onto my foot, and I feel like I am wearing a rigid shell around my foot, rather than being one with the boot. As a result, it rolls a little when on uneven ground, and that is the sort of thing that can lead to a serious injury, especially traversing a ledge two miles up. Unstable is not what I need in a boot. I saw some reviews online suggesting they haven't been the same since they changed location of manufacture, but I wanted to believe in the boot. Sigh. I paid for them so I'm going to wear them to kick around in, but I'm afraid I won't be taking these boots on a real trail. If you plan to do more that a social day-hike, I don't think you'll get your money's worth from these boots, and I recommend you keep looking.

I had a pair of the Italian made original (5 stars), then the China made version (1/2 star), and now these. They are back on the level of quality to expect from the Sundowner. Huge fan of these new made in Vietnam edition, but do order 1/2 size larger as they run small. It’s hard to get em dirty as good as they look! I’m old school and this is a perfect boot for my old school attitude!

I’ve owned 3 pair of these over the last 25 years and they haven’t really changed. Break in period is long on this boot but when it’s done, you’ll be happy. Adds an inch to your height with the sole.
