I wore these shoes daily to work (in an office) as welll as around town, around the house, etc. after a few weeks, both shoes developed a tear on the outside, in the suede, just behind the plastic toe cap. I love the look and feel so much that I want to buy another pair but I’m concerned they will do the same thing. You can see in the photos that the left shoe is worst than the right. I put Gorilla Tape on the inside to keep the whole closed up.

I've trusted my life to these as a Former Special Operations Officer in the US Intelligence Community. I wore these as an operator for short duration direct action ops where strong ankle support was not essential. This was the approach shoe we wore on the Bin Laden raid.

Vasquez hiking boots were the first pair of real hiking boots that I ever owned. Bought a pair when I was 16 years old and I am not going to tell you what year that was but needless to say they were the best real hiking boots that I have ever had the pleasure of owning. Since then I have searched high and low for a comparable pair both in price and quality. I don't mind spending a few dollars more if that translates to better quality. Unfortunately it doesn't. I have owned many different pairs from many different manufacturers but in the end it has come down to Vasque. In quality, performance and value for the dollar. Right now I own two pairs of the Juxt and they are almost 8 years old and still have at least another 5 years of life if not more. And they are my go to shoe, for daily wear casual as well as hiking. They are great approach shoes, sturdy, comfortable and trustworthy. Thank you for keeping your product real and not falling victim to the least expensive outsourcing manufacturers that so many of your competitors have to there regrets. Sincerely Brian B.

I discovered this shoe about 10 years ago when I was living in South America, and it was the perfect shoe for both the street and dirt roads. Even now that I am back in the United States, I have continued to wear the shoe and only the shoe for almost a decade, every day. it’s very comfortable, especially if you have narrow feet and there’s plenty of room for the custom insoles that I wear. I literally keep several pairs of these new in the boxes in my basement just in case stop making them.

I’m amazed that after 3 years of daily use these shoe are still holding up and are comfortable. It is getting near the point to replace them but I can not find another pair outside of the USA.

I decided to order these shoes a couple weeks ago to replace the 7066 13w model that i purchased many times but was discontinued. The juxt shoes seemed fine at first but after 2 days i realized my toes were sore and looked at 2 toenails that were bruised one on each foot,(weird right?) Any way the toebox is much smaller than the old model i loved to wear. I need to return.

I purchased a pair of Juxt last week and they feel so good to my feet. Will definitely recommend this brand to friends & family.

I have been purchasing Juxt for a long time, I have been through 8 pair over the years. the Fit for me is key. I've tried Merrill, and other that pinch my feet in a size 12. not the juxt. Dealing with faciitis, i need the extra heel support provide.

I love these shoes. Great traction, light, and most important comfortable. Vasque is also made in the USA which is an important factor for me. Highly recommend.

I just bought my 2nd pair. I am 6'3" 345lbs and wear a 14W shoe. These are comfortable right out of the box. I have trouble finding comfortable shoes. I have tried Merrell, Keen, Irish Setter, Salomon, Nike, Adidas, and these shoes blow them all away. They are close to my Breeze GTX boots also by Vasque but more comfortable. I will be a lifetime Vasque customer and wear these hunting, fishing, hiking and on everyday occasions here in western Montana. I wish you'd offer a waterproof version perhaps goretex and maybe a 3/4 boot in this exact style.

Had the shoes now for a few weeks, worn them on a dozen hour long walks and hikes. Good things: Soles are grippy while not being too soft. They are also thick and appear to have a long live ahead of them. The insole is moderately supportive - waiting to see if they get better when broken in. I do like how they lace up - you can definitely control where the shoes are looser and tighter with ease. The shoes are definitely well made and built to last. Not so Good. I am a 13D, except for these shoes. They are narrow in the toe box and may even be a half size too short. Had I tried them on in the store and had a ramp to test a descent, I would have definitely gotten the wider model, maybe gone up a half size too. I'll continue to use them for light hikes and walks in the woods since it's too late to return them at this point and overall, I do like the shoe.

I have had these for several weeks now and have 25+ miles on them. They fit great and true to size. They have just the right amount of cushion for sidewalks and easy to moderate trails. Their performance is exactly as I expected from the item description and other reviews.

I have worn out two pairs of these shoes over the last ten years and I thought that I would never find them again. But, then I was browsing through your website and there they were and you had them in my size. I was so excited when they arrived. I will be a customer of yours forever. Thank you so much.

I bought my first pair of Vasque Juxt 2.5 years ago and liked them so much, I just bought my second pair. Durable, comfortable and dynamic. I'm able to wear these to work with business causal attire, consistently do 4+ mile runs off road without grip or support issues, then throw them in the washing machine every couple weeks so I can wear them back into the office. Highly recommended. I found them to run slightly large, which I liked. I'm normally a 12.5 E/EE and I found the 12W to fit me perfectly.

Comfort right out of the box. And durable too. Third pair in 5 years. Probably put at least 1200 miles a year on them, maybe more. No blisters, no break in period!
