Tough But Lightweight
fabric seems very tough and it was lighter than I expected. It rolls up nice and relatively small - much better than a clunky canister. We did use an opsak bag just for extra security since the ursack by itself does not contain odors.

Finally have a far better alternative to the bear cannister. Tough, light, easy to pack. Still requires a modicum of logic and common sense, so most people should just stick with the heavy, unmanageable, and difficult to pack bear canisters, since they are more idiot-proof.

Good Bag But Wouldn’t Trust On The Ground.
I bought this because I wanted something lighter than my bear canister that could potentially withstand a bear encounter. I am disappointed in the closing system as little critters can easily get inside if left on the ground. I wish the allmitty version came in this larger volume, that version has a velcro closing system.
