Reel Broken Out Of The Box

Had this rod for a whole two hours, took it out of the packaging and the reel gears aren’t engaging due to being misaligned. Wasted trip!

Bad Reel!

Rod is fine. Reel is poor, poor, poor! Great waste of plastic

Not Bad For First Rod/reel

Just introducing 5 year old to fishing, and he loves the rod. I noticed that the reel pin, when reeled, does not always pick up the line if line is not taunt. Hope it does not frustrate my grandson. Drag setting is also imprecise or sloppy. If the Zebco 33 is not too long, it would be much better choice, a more serious reel.

Best Pole. Ever

My 4 year old loves this pole !!! He can cast by his own self and he is so proud he can. The first line he dropped he cought a fluke within 3 mins!!!
