Worth Its Price

I’ve bought this rod about a month ago and have used it often and have not run into a problem with the rod itself but the reel is a bit lengthy to set it up when changing lures or bait.

Great Pole Bad Reel

I bought this last year and I was able to get one week out of it until it started back reeling and would create horrible backlash. I love the pole. I would buy the pole separate and then buy a better reel. If you are willing to spend more money I would get a abu Garcia. I am an experienced angler also.

What Line Weight??

Come pre spooled with stren but no mention of the # test.

Nice strong rod- but the reel is NOT interchangeable....so that should probably be changed in the ad. Bought as a gift but will now need to buy a different reel.

Awesome Rod/reel Combo

I decided to treat myself to a new rod/reel combo for my birthday and was not disappointed. I have always wanted an UglyStik and this being my first one was a real game changer for me. Highly recommended.

The Reel Is Junk

I bought this rod and reel yesterday cuz I wanted to try using a baitcaster and love ugly sticks but on the fourth cast when I clicked the button and went to cast I heard a low extra click noise and there was no longer any anti reverse in the reel. Other then that it's great and I still caught a large mouth with it i love the rod but I'm gonna have to replace the reel
